Food was excellent. Tuesday tri-tip special & a hamburger. Both cooked perfect. A little noisy in the bar area, but expected to be such.

Second time we've been to The Alley in a week. What a great place. The ambiance is great for our likes, the food is good and so is the service. Last week I had salmon and it was extremely good. Last night I had steak and it wasn't as good. Our friend had a different steak, Steak Diane, and said it was perfect. My wife's pork chops were thin and dried out. That said, we still love The Alley and will be back again soon.

Service was unusually slow. Seems like the kitchen was way behind. Everyone was friendly and the food and drinks were good. They just seemed to be having an off night.

This place is our favorite for their clam & seafood chowders…depending on the availability of the seafood. Both are exceptional and well worth the trip, just for that…Friday and Saturdays only. Not always available. I never order from the menu and always enjoy ordering from the specials board. The chefs are the stars here and have us coming back weekly! Not to mention the bar is tagged with the line…heaviest pour on the shore!
