   Disgraceful service. We were told that most things on the menu would not be ready until much later. The place was empty. I now know why,

   The service is very slow. The meat from butcher has a good quality... because the fillet that I would eat cooked medium was "well done"... and the meat was ok. Maybe they need more experiance in the kitchen.

   My husband and I had our 44th wedding anniversary dinner here and we had a beautiful meal. The food was delicious and not at all fast food. It wasn't as spicy as we are used to but still lovely. The young man who served us was attentive but not obtrusively so. He was friendly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I only hope this restaurant gets more custom. It was a Thursday evening at 7 and we were 1 of 2 couples in the restaurant. By 7.30 and for the rest of the evening we were the only diners. Please try this restaurant. It really is a jewel in Kilmarnock and not at all expensive. We'll be back.

   It was quiet on arrival but atmosphere improved as more diners arrived. Staff were very attentive and food was worth waiting for. Reasonably priced and left full. Would recommend

   This was our first time at 43 steakhouse. Good range of Mexican food and all was well cooked and well presented. Nice table and a proper candle! Service good and was not rushed. We will go back

   Great food but be prepared to wait! I have been twice now and both times have waited at least 40 minutes for mains to be served. Luckily it is worth the wait and I will happily make a return visit. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.
