   I will preface: the food at Thattu is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The experience overall, however was very average. I will note that this is likely due to misaligned expectations on my part rather than anything that Thattu did (or didn't do). The space is very casual. The servers, who were prompt and professional, will tell you the day's specials, bring the food, and fill up the water, though that's about it since you order via the Toast app and a QR code. If you're going with a group of friends and want great food while chatting - Thattu is an excellent choice. As a date spot, I felt it left something to be desired.

   Really good food and drinks. Service is super easy, order on phone and price includes tip. Great experience.

   Awesome food ambience and customer service. You can dial to head chef Margaret. Try anything they have in nannari- mind blowing

   The best food, drinks and atmosphere!! Absolutely love this place! My favorite dish is the Kadala curry with appam!! And to drink I usually go with the ginger cooler which is delicious but tried Mel’s elixir this time and that was also soo good!

   I’ve dined at Thattu’s for several years now and the quality of food and service has always been superb. I’m glad we have an authentic Kerala restaurant in Chicago.

    Outstanding menu to taste food “from God’s own Country “. Developed with the South Indian cuisine in mind to cater to the local population. I wish parking was a little easier.
