TGI FRIDAYS - Troy
Our service was absolutely horrible! When we arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night, the place was more than half empty. That should've been our first clue. When my husband asked the waitress which beers they had on draft, the waitress pointed inside the menu at the beer list. We had seen some craft beers listed on a sign as we walked in, and they weren't listed in the menu. So my husband asked about those. The waitress told us there were too many to remember, and didn't offer to go find out.
Later on, we asked her if they did anything to celebrate birthdays--we were there for my mother's 85th birthday. She said, "All we do is give a free sundae." And she walked away. She never offered drink refills, etc. I'm not sure where the manager was, but had he been walking around at all, he would have noticed the poor service this young lady was giving her customers. The male server that was working with her was trying his best to pick up her slack--clearing tables, asking people if they needed anything, etc. Unfortunately, we were one table outside his service area. We will definitely NOT be going back.
Great service, great food! Excellent place to eat.
I’m not sure if I would go back. Our server was good but didn’t seem happy to see us.
One persons salad was requested prior to entree but it came out with the entree.
Person two ask fo his steak medium and it was very well done so he had toned it for another to be cooked.
I had rewards toward the bill. Phone with scan code was taken to the register twice and when I got the final bill the reward had not been included.
When we arrived, we waited for a host/hostess to seat us, which didn’t happen so we ended up seating ourselves. We waited for at least 15 minutes to be waited on and then watched as customers who came in after us were served their food prior to us. The server was apologetic but it was evident that the restaurant was understaffed and the staff that were there weren’t attentive to the needs of “all” customers as some received continued attention while others such as us were neglected for extended periods of time.
I haven't got my points for this dining
Horrible service and the waiter could careless! Waited almost an hour for food, and when we did receive one order was incorrect. Vegetables were cold. To top all of this off there was hardly anyone in the restaurant!!!
Friday’s just not wht it used to be
This was our second time at this Friday’s location and they did not disappoint. Drinks were great food was even better.
Very Slow service despite it not being busy. 2 entrees and a salad were ordered for 3 adultS and chips and salsa as well. It took 25 mins for the chips to deliver and another 10 for the salad then another 10-13 mins for the 2 entrees. No update or apology from the server for this long delay. At that point then the salad shouldve delivered w the entrees as that was my entree for dinner
No host at the door. Had to look around for someone to sit us
The staff did well being as under staffed as they were while we were there. They promptly corrected a mistake they made on our order and made it a pleasant experience
We booked on Open Table and when we arrived, the staff didn’t seem interested in checking us in.....just wanted to seat us quickly. Disappointed in the way were treated. The restaurant was not crowded.
Amazing staff especially on Christmas! Thank you for being open for the people who really don't have lot's of family to share the holiday with! Food was amazing! Thank you TGI Fridays!
A local place where you can go and grab a quick bite to eat. The Buffalo Hanger Burger was good. Again, it's a decent place for a quick bite.
Good low priced happy hour drinks and appetizers.
Food bland nearly tasteless. The Appetizer special had hidden strings attached.
We made our reservation on OpenTable and arrived exactly on time. We were shown to our seats immediately upon arrival, despite a line of reservationless people waiting.
Service was slightly slow but overall very good.
Food was excellent as well. There are a lot of choices on the menu from less healthy to healthy and I had the grilled salmon which was excellent. Spinach dip appetizer was fabulous.
We used our Friday's points to get one of the meals for free. I was surprised to learn that the endless apps on the menu (which is listed as a permanent item and not at Special offer) could not be ordered for the $10 price when redeeming points at the same time. But that's OK, at least I know that now.
Little black dress merlot was not very good. Will try a different wine next time.
Went for a late evening quick bite. My wife had the nachos and I had a Cobb salad. Both were good and reasonably priced.
