TGI FRIDAYS - Garland
Mother’s Day lunch; we were told their open table system was down and it would be at least 30 minutes wait even though we had a 1 pm reservation.
Restaurant was fine overall but I had made a reservation so that we would not have to wait a long time and they didn’t have our reservation when we got there so that was s big fail! We had a party of 11 and waited about an hour before food was served.
A group of 9. I ordered fish n chips, fish was warm, fries was cold. Requested fresh fries received warm fries in return.
Others that were part of our group wasn't happy. Cajun shrimp pasta, burger, shrimp n ribs. Everything was not at a warm nor hot temp.
Went around 4:00 PM, not crowded at all. Service extremely slow. Took forever to get a appetizer out to the table. Cheese sticks n spinach dip.
Worst ribs I ever tasted would not have fed them them back to the pig service almost as bad had to get up and find napkins for myself only time we saw waitress was to take order and to drop off check would not come back even if free
Overall is a very good spot to just eat and chat with friends. This occasion we did find something that looked like a hair in one of the plates. Not sure if it was an actual hair or a black string from the vegetables. Server did come out to change the plate. This location DOES NOT accept online reservations even though the website gives you the option which we did but luckily we didn’t have to wait.

Our experience last night wasn't as good as before. 1st, it was raining when we came & we were seated right away.But when I told our server that I did reserve, he just dismissed it, so my points weren't credited.Then outrightly, I already told him I'm gonna use my free bday dessert coupon later, so he took a pix of my acct#.Then when we the bill came, we were billed for the dessert.So I had to remind him & he had to get a new bill, w/c took longer.Also,he wasn't very attentive.My hubby's drink had been empty-no refills nor H2O was offered, & we're out of napkins.Quite disappointing.
Didn't have access to the online reservation schedule, so our table wasn't ready when we got there. Orders were taken at different times, so some were already getting food while others hadn't even been asked their order yet. A lot of orders came out completely wrong. Drinks sat empty on the table. Checks were wrong. I will not be returning to this location. HORRIBLE service!
The ribs were a lil over cooked. The waiter was okay. But i love the mozzarella sticks!
Overall, most st our table were disappointed in the food. The loaded nachos were bland, two did not like their salad and my turkey burger was dry. I hate to write this but it was not a good food experience
We made the reservation online, but their iPad was down. Luckily they had a table open. The waiter never introduced himself and we felt like we were bothering him when we asked for refills. He never said more than two words at a time and seemed depressed to work a Friday night. My food was good, but looked like nothing in the picture. The picture looked like a BBQ plate (chicken and shrimp) but it came to me looking like an underportioned Mexican plate.
In spite of all this I'm sure we'd go again, excepting the rule my wife and I have to not eat in the same restaurant more than once a year.
The waiter was soo nice and it was a great environment!
I took my girlfriend to Fridays early on a Sunday afternoon. Wondering, friendly service. It was quite and the perfect place for a intimate date.
We chose this Friday's location to have a family dinner together after our Sons High School Graduation. At 11am I made a reservation for a party of 14 at 9:30pm. I wanted to be sure that they would have space and staff available to serve such a large party so I was sure to make my reservation early so they wouldn't be caught off guard.
When we arrived, the hostess told us that it had been a slow night and the manager had sent home most of the staff and only had 2 waiters available. The place was mostly empty but we were told that we could not be seated because they didn't have anyone to take out drink order right away, which didn't make any sense at all.
I walked up to the bar order a drink for my wife and I and that is when we witnessed the Manager named Chris taking shots of Patron with the bartender.
Once we were finally seated, our Server was very friendly and professional. He did an outstanding job trying to take care of us.
When our food came out, the manager carried out some of the food to help out. He then reached across the table and handed a hot plate with a hot skillet of Mac and Cheese to my father in-law and burned him with it. It was clear that the manager was intoxicated and had no business serving customers.
We felt highly disrespected that we had chosen to celebrate a special time with our family in an establishment that is so poorly managed and operated.
