Texas Street Grill

The service was good and the staff friendly. The food was extremely bland. Went for brunch. Disappointed.

I have eaten many times at Texas Street Grill and have always given them 5 stars.

We only had entrees and wine and beer, but all three entrees (Salmon, Lemon Chicken, and Oso Bucco) were excellent.

Food wasn't hot and the waiter forgot multiple things in our order. His attentiveness to the table was poor and consistent with other ratings by other reviewers.

We showed up for our reservation, we were seated, waited 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were there, bring us water, take our appetizer order, anything and it didn’t happen. Restaurant wasn’t even busy, so we left after waiting for 20 minutes. It’s a shame, it was prime rib night and I was craving their fried quail.

Food was good but service wasn't! Waiter was not knowledgeable about wines, did not listen to special requests for dinner such as bring my salad before my main course, instead it came with the appetizer, I sent it back and then it never came again.

Staff needs more training, but overall food and ambiance were great.

Food was delicious! However, we were put in the back room and I would have rather been in the main dining room. So maybe this should have been an option when reservations were made. Also, service was extremely slow. It took awhile for food to arrive once we ordered. Would definitely go again.

I loved the new decor. The food was okay for the price. Mexican Martini was good except I prefer it in a shaker. My order was not correct but I let it go this time.

Well we wanted to go out and treat our son to a good steak dinner, but that wasn’t the case. This is our second visit, both times the service was poor, but this time the food was cold and took forever. After waiting an hour we decided to eat the cold food, but won’t be going back until they can figure out the service and have more consistency on food. It’s too expensive for what we were offered.

Great food, great service, and Tesla chargers!

Went for the Saturday night rib special. Ribs were well done, tender but a bit spicy. Very tasty!! One in our group would have liked a sauce on the side. Others in our group had the tuna and another the lemon chicken. All enjoyed the meals. We love the remodel!

My blackened snapper over a watermelon salad was wonderful, the spice with the sweet, yum! My husband’s salmon was good. Our biggest complaint was the service. After 15 plus minutes we weren’t greeted by anyone. Next time we’ll sit in the bar area, enjoy a cocktail and have a great meal!

Food is average, portions are very small for the price they charge. Do not recommend, we will not be back.

It was our first time going to the grill and we were very impressed with the ambiance and how quiet the noise level was. But that was probably the best part about the restaurant.

The food was excellent. My filet mignon melted in my mouth and was not over seasoned. I would return as long as I wasn’t in a hurry.

Unfortunately they were running on a skeleton crew in the front of the house, and we were not even acknowledged until about 25 minutes after seating. We received our food about an hour after ordering.

What a delightful date with my wife and the food was amazing! Thank you for the complimentary drink tickets for the “backyard!”
But please don’t be bashful about enforcing a dress code! The locals should not feel entitled to wear swim trunks, T-shirt’s and baseball caps to dinner in this top rated restaurant.

Quite possible the worst food I have had since I moved to Austin 3 years ago. The Osso Bucco was a dried up tough piece of pork on a bone. Out of the 10 meals our table ordered all were terrible but the filet mignon - and it was served lukewarm. The terrible service from our waiter made it even worse. We complained to the manager who was actually quite apologetic and understanding and took a couple of meals and a bottle of wine off the bill. At least he made a good effort to recover which was appreciated.

Oof. Today was just off. Hopefully our experience wasn’t typical.

We sat in the bar, 4 people. We got 4 menus, 3 dated 6/1/2019 and 1 dated 6/5/2019. They did not match. Service was fair; however, wait staff looked confused. We had beverages trying to be delivered to our table that were not ours. The value is not there. Plus, what is with those funeral blue curtains in the entry?

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant in Lakeway! Love the new decor but loved it before as well! Same great food plus some new additions!

Love this place, and the new interior is much quieter and more comfy. Food is terrific, and the new shared-plates brunch concept worked well for our party of 5.

They just changed their name to something new so we drove by it the first time. All of our dishes were very tasty. We had 2 tasty items served at room temperature and they immediately gave us new ones.
The pork queso and quail appetizers were very good. The tuna was probably the best dish. We also had the grouper, burger, and tortilla soup which were all very good. Hope this place continues to draw customers and stays in business - good find in Lakeway and accessible to the Steiner Ranch and Bee Cave residents.

Attended Father's Day brunch. The buffet, actually brought to the table, was excellent. And the cost, including a few mimosas, was about 1/2 of what we have spend in the past for such a brunch. Great food and great value.

tried to reinvented themselves but didn't see much difference except decor and name change. Menu pretty much the same. Ok but not somewhere I would go on a regular basis.

Enen though they changed name we really enjoy our dinner time. Great food and service .

Consistently great experience. Everyone’s meal was delicious. Service was very attentive. We had the Ahi, the grouper, and the Oso Buco. All were amazing. Definitely one of our favorites!

Ordered food that did not arrive. 45 min to deliver dinner

I absolutely love the ambiance here! It's intimate yet open. Everyone's talking around you yet you can't even hear the table next to you! It's great. The food is so delicious. I wouldn't really be in a hurry if you come here, but that adds to the relaxation of enjoying such a nice meal.

Restaurant wasn’t open at our scheduled reservation time. Called, no answer, called again at 11:50 and still no answer. Ended up at another restaurant.

I actually put a poor review on trip advisor as well. First, our waitress was in such a hurry, she barked at ya fir our order, slammed things done as fast as she could. She was our first unpleasant experience and stressed ya out. We ordered our drinks and 29 mins later got them, one with a hug floating in it. Our food came out before we could even finish our martinis. We asked fir bread, waited forever fir that, then came out burnt. Never have we been charged extra for a lite”dirty martini!” That is absurd.
The food was extremely salty. My shrimp linguine was very spicy . That should have been mentioned on the menu.

I made my res on OpenTable.. Dinner out to celebrate a special occasion... 5:45 outside... Arrived on time... Opps.. Private party outside..Seated inside.. that's fine... Appetizer of baked goat cheese was ok... Boulibaise was WAY TOO SPICY!! Bread with it was pretty boring.....Salad with the Shrimp and Crab Cake was way to salty... Pretty mediocre celebration which they never acknowledged....

The food came out ice cold from the kitchen. They tried to make up for it with free desserts. The creme brûlée came out burnt on top and the glass bowl was hot and then inside was cold and the egg was separated. The waitress was very nice and accommodating, only decent part about that restaurant was our waitress.
