It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

Food was great. Most importantly, the staff - particularly Cess - was very attentive Needs improvement: it was very warm inside.

It was a second time for me but a first time for my girlfriend and family, thank you for giving a wonderful experience this Valentine’s Day and a huge thanks for our waiter/server Kevin for giving that day a pretty smotth sailing and meaningful experience, thanks to the restaurant too for giving us the best seat in the house. I have no complaints, I would definitely eat here again!

They were understaffed considering it was a weekend when we visited making their service so slow. Even when we asked for our bill, it took them 15-20mins just for the bill. Their very few crew were intentionally avoiding eye contact to customers just to avoid getting their attention. Place was crowded. Nothing much to be desired even on their food.

We booked a reservation hoping to have a nice seat but they put us on the end table where used trays and other items are placed when there are available tables in couch. We told them that it’s my brother’s birthday but the said ice cream never came. It’s so hard to call their attention maybe because we are in a spot that is not noticeable since it’s an end table. When booking I chose M09 or M009 and upon searching it’s supposed to be window table but I don’t know what really happened there. Food is just okay and overall we are not pleased.

Arrived earlier but was accommodated right away which is a plus given that it's dinner time on a Saturday night. Food is great, ambience is okay, typical of a family restaurant you'd want to take your family to during weekends. Will surely go back. 🤙🏻🙂

We had a great dining experience overall. The food was delicious and well-prepared, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We truly appreciated that they accommodated us even though there was a minimum reservation requirement for number of guests for our year-end party. Definitely a place we’d come back to and recommend to others.
