It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

Good value when using discounts, especially the steaks. Service needs to be improved. Used to be ok but now that they are bigger, they are severely understaffed

booked in advance for dinner at 8PM however, we waited for 30mins just to be seated. Our group arrived 8:07 PM and it was alright given the 15min grace period. 1. Upon arrival, I informed the reception I have an 8PM reservation and was told to wait as the table is being cleared out. 2. We waited and went to the reception at the 10min mark to advise again. I was asked "pang-ilan po kayo?". The previous staff didn't note our arrival. I mentioned again that we had a prior reservation for 8PM and we were told to wait as the table is being cleared out. 3. At the 20min mark, a group before us was let inside where the supposed table was being cleared. 4. I went again to the reception, this time, talking to another person again to ask when will they let us in. Had to mention again that we have an 8PM reservation and all that. I asked what's the point of the reservation if we need to wait for more than 20mins to be seated. 5. At the 30min mark we were let in and they directed us to a regular table even when I requested for a couch on the reservation. 6. I raised that we requested for a couch, and so they had to clear another couch before they could transfer us. 7. Since then, there were other inconveniences that happened: -We had to follow up on 3 different people for a missing item and ended up having to ask for it as a take out since they brought it out late. -We had to follow up to 4 different people just for the receipt. Note that it was also hard to call anyone's attention as it looks like they were avoiding our group after we called them out on our reservation. For this price range, I expect better service and attitude. We weren't even using any promo for this dinner and yet we're treated like this.

Very accommodating as usual, the server and manager was able to provide what we requested even if it is not part of their usual combination of menu items

Try to approach noisy customers, especially those who are drinking. We dined at 8:00 PM, and two tables away from us, there were drunk and very noisy customers.

we had the shrimp hand-battered shrimp poppers, ribeye, and st. louis ribs, and chocolate ice cream for dessert. the ribeye was the stand out. overall, i would rate our experience a 9.5/10. worth a repeat visit!

Some of our special requests were missed (plain rice instead of garlic rice, veg of the burger in the side), but our waitress was very apologetic and accommodating for the misses by the server and kitchen.

Great ambiance to dine. Music a little bit louder so we can't converse without raising our voices. Overall the food is great! Must for celebrations
