It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

Getting an online reservation is much better and efficient than to walk-in! Great customer service & great good! 🫶 We especially love the ranch sauce!

The reservation staff are very accommodating. When i called them that me and my guests would be late for about 45 min due to heavy traffic, they allowed me despite the long waiting queue in their list. Food was superb!

Comparing from other branches we visited, this branch needs improvement: 1. Slow refill of bread and nuts. I was told they are selling these and that may be the reason they are slow to refill. 2. Serving size is not proportionate with other branches. Platter says 3-4 but the rice is just for 2pax, not first time at Texas so I know how this is served with other sites. Beef ranchero as well. 3. They don’t have Birthday Song for celebrants. We had to sing ourselves. Other branches even play birthday song via speakers.

Great food, great service! Front-of-House immediately led us to our table after hearing seeing my name on the reservation list! He was very courteous all throughout! The salad was good and our steaks were just right. I will definitely order another NY Strip on my next visit! Servers were numerous and very attentive. My wife and I will definitely go back with the rest of the family!

My reservation experience was seamless. When I arrived I was welcomed even if we came in earlier than our scheduled reservation. The service and food was superb!
