   It was our first and last time due to the lack of quality or just simply over cooked meats. Additional cost for lamb chops was uncommon for us and the usual per request for the beef ribs was the most disappointing. They were especially overcooked, and unflavored…then when the fresh one arrived it was tender but left me tastebuds unbothered! Highlights were the lamb sirloin…that was down right delicious and the cod dish was tasty. Cold bar was decent as was the au gratin potatoes but boooo on the soup and cheese bread. In comparison to the Brazilian restaurant we frequent my experience at the Texas de Brazil made me appreciate Fogo de Chao more than ever!!! No comparison…being able to taste the difference made the commute to Carlsbad an eye opening lessoned learned!!!

   Getting us seated was a bit of a challenge. Despite having a reservation we waited about 20 minutes. The hosts were pleasant but our server Joana was exemplary. The salad bar was well stocked and offered a good selection. The Brazilian cocktail was really good and the house cab was okay. The meat selection was definitely plenty, however we asked the meat servers to have the meats cooked more as most was on the very rare side. The chicken and flavored sirloin were quite tasty but the leg of lamb was stellar. We realized after the fact that desserts were not included. Overall it was a good experience.

   This is one of my favorite spots to dine in north county. It is a little on the pricey side but the quality is worth it. Very nice staff and great service.

   Yesterday was my Birthday so I have never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse before. I have to say it was worth the money. Started with salad. The salad bar was excellent. So many flavors and fresh. Meat was amazing. We loved the bacon wrapped chicken. I sampled all the meat. I recommend you try all. I will visit the restaurant again. Thank you

   We have had various meals at Texas de Brazil over the past 2 yrs and every time the experience has been excellent, however; this occasion was exceptional because of the superb service. Everything was done for us except the chewing of the great cuts of protein available. Never had to look for a water top off or strawberry limeade refill. The staff was so accommodating. Absolutely one of the top 3 dining experiences we have had the pleasure of having bestowed upon us.

   Went for Easter Brunch. I was very impressed with the service. The manager made sure to stop by and thank us for coming. The servers with the meat were always available and all of the meat cuts were good. They even followed up with more well done options for someone in our party. The atmosphere feels pretty casual, more than I remembered, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Overall a great experience and I would definitely recommend and return!

    We went for Easter brunch and there were supposed to be some Easter items but there were none. We were seated outside and all of the tables and glasses were dirty like they’d been left out overnight. The floor was sticky surrounding our table - so bad that I had difficulty removing my shoe from the floor- and there was an obvious spill of food on the ground. There were no other people seated anywhere near us and we arrived near opening time so this likely happened the night before. This seems very unclean and like a health hazard. The service was otherwise good but I felt uneasy eating there with so many unsanitary issues
