Welcome to the height of fine dining. Welcome to Texas de Brazil.
Ordered a glass of wine and it didnt arrive for almost 30 minutes until I was halfway through with meal despite reminding server twice who said the bar was behind. Server not helpful regarding gluten free questions...server was far more interested in her party of 10 than our table for 2 .
Everything was fabulous except the price. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Would definitely go back often if the price was more reasonable
Quiet atmosphere. Definitely not a place I would bring young kids. We had our 1 year old and I felt on edge the entire time we were there because any peep she made I was afraid we were annoying people. Beautiful design and amazing food. Wait staff were very friendly. Over all a great experience.
We took some dear friends for special treat
excellent service very good food and great variety a bit pricey!!
Our waitstaff was amazing, food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I can't wait to go back
This is so much better than Tucanos although they are very similar. I visited Texas de Brazil with my girlfriend about two weeks ago and when one of my employees and his wife wanted to go out with us, I chose Texas de Brazil because I knew our visit would be outstanding. OK, it's not cheap. The value however, is there!
Try the Sangria. Refreshing and fun at the same time. A real dinner enhancer.
We love this place. I hope they never go away. The restaurant is really nicely setup. The staff brings out amazing meat dishes all the time. Never go hungry.
The food was not worth the price, very few options and nobody brought food to us. Someone I know highly recommended you guys but I was extremely disappointed. Also, I was overcharged for a child that was below the age of 5.
Wonderful food and our server was great. Very disappointing that we had to sit sometimes 5 to 10 minutes before the gauchos came back to our table with meat. Asked for lamb 3 or 4 times and was told be right out. Finally was told that we had to have a special request for it. Anyways the food was great like always but having to wait over and over was frustrating.
Food was great and wait staff was also great. However I fell at the restaurant and the staff was great, however the manager never came over and to check on me at all through dinner and no report was filed.
AmAzing service. Great selection of meats & salad bar. Server made sure we had the meat we wanted throughout our dining experience!
The experience was amazing and the food was delicious! Customer service was outstanding!
Very Good overall The Salad Bar a little more on fancy side not as many options as others. Meats were good some were dry and others were extremely rare. Meat service was great at first once got busy slowed way down and even was skipped even though all 4 of us had our circle on Green. We also had to find our waitress to get the bill. Also be careful if you get a limeade those I was with loved them and the serve ask if they wanted a refill didn't tell them each refill be charged. This place is a little fancier and quieter than the other one in the aera. I do like the meat overall better here especially able to get lamb but overall because of Salad Bar/ Choices/ free refills/ and price we will prob go back to the other one in the area.
The food was good the service was good the price was shocking
Fabulous Aviance. Spectacular food. Wonderful service.
Had a fantastic meal. Great experience all around.
I wish they have chicken heart. I would definitely come over more often. Pay $5 for a guaraná is too much.
While the quality of meat is a little better than Tuscanos the other Brazilian steakhouse in the Boise area the variety was not there. Some of the better cuts of meat never made it around until almost the very end. And the salad bar at Toscanos is by far a much better salad bar with a much larger selection. You pay $45 at Texas de Brazil and $25 at Tuscanos. I know where I'm going next time I want to go into a meat coma!
This was a great experience. We went with our family and they were very welcoming and the kids thought it was such a fun way to eat food. The food was fantastic and the management above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and that we had a good experience.
The service and atmosphere were very good, experientially. The focus of the meal regarding meat delivery to the table and meat options was not stellar. Both frequency and preparation could be improved with training and attention to detail. Through the whole night, we were only offered five meat options. The salad bar was fine but could have benefitted from other high-end options and fresher items as some appeared dry and macerated due to being out too long. Personal experience with this restaurant chain in Boise, Fairfax, and Boston areas are fairly consistent. In all aspects, this chain is a much better experience than that found at Tucanos; it needs to improve on certain aspects to achieve the typical higher-end experience at Fogo de Chao - particularly at the menu pricing schedule that both offer.
My wife and I set up reservations for 8:15 PM on a Sunday. We showed up on time and the restaurant was empty. We didn’t know that the restaurant closed at 9 o’clock. We felt very rushed by our server who was continually hovering over our table. The food was only mediocre and the price was outrageous!
The grilled meats were very good, but the salad bar was incredibly minimal and the potato dishes were really lacking flavor. I think it’s safe to say for $50 per person there should be at least some toppings to go with your salad besides cheese and dressing.
The food was SO GOOD!!!!! All of the meats were wonderful, but the flank steak and the little Brazilian sausages were especially tasty. Our server and the gauchos who bring the meat to your table in a never-ending rotation were friendly and skilled - it was obvious that they enjoy working there, and that always adds a little extra awesome to the dining experience. The salad bar was epic, and the house cheese biscuits were so good, we asked for a second round. They have very interesting and varied drink menu - the house sangria is amazing. I marked the experience down a star only because the lighting was a little bit higher than I enjoy at dinner, and the bar was slow in getting our drinks out - if Texas de Brazil figure out a way to speed up the bar service, they could easily double their bar sales. We will definitely be going back.
First time trying this restaurant. Although we had reservations and there were multiple open tables we were seated at a table next to the front door. The food was good, but didn’t match the high price that you pay.
The food, service & atmosphere made for a wonderful first experience at Texas de Brazil. We would go again!
Excellent food, service, and drinks. But way too expensive.
The whole experience was great. If you are in a mood to try something new, this is the place. It is considered upscale so expect to pay about $60 per person. It was worth it. The flavors were great. The service was exceptional. Even had the manager of the place come over to make sure we were enjoying our food.
Scrumptious food, terrific waitstaff, beautiful ambience. We definitely recommend it for a memorable experience!
My husband and I went out for a date which we don’t get to do often with young children. The restaurant was beautiful! Food was exceptional! The only complaint I had was that it was very noisy, almost reminded me of being in a cafeteria. But I still give 5 stars on everything because it was all wonderful!
Great food, unique atmosphere accompanied by a friendly staff is nothing short of a recipe for success. Expensive but a experience that leaves you in aww.
Ambience! Quality! Service!
This was a most pleasant surprise. From the moment you step foot in the door the ambience will catch your attention and suck you in. The salad bar is most unusual with an exceptional assortment of cheese and unusual veggies and includes sushi, pineapple carpaccio, asparagus, and a few hot items. The lobster bisque is rich, high in flavor, very smooth and is exceptional. The protein selections are high quality and very flavorful. If you are a fan of lamb chops, you won’t be disappointed. Their bacon wrapper filet was one of my favorites. Their offerings are far more superb than some of the other Brazilian Steakhouse’s that I’ve been to.
Cost is steep... but a waitstaff in suits and ties that cater to your every whim coupled by the outstanding ambience and amazing food will be well worth your dollar.
Go out - eat under the stars indoors - and try it!
First time we whet to your restaurant it was really good second time poor service didn’t get a great choice meat lots of lamb not much beef and long waits in between. Will not go back for that kind of money.
We looked forward to trying a new restaurant but it left us not desiring more and at $45/person + drinks there are better dining options in the area. We are glad we tried but won’t be returning
Our experience at Texa de Brazil was excellent; the service was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious, and the desert was great. We will return.
This place is ridiculously expensive. $45 for our 6-year-old to eat. Should have “only” been $22 for her (which is still an unacceptable price). I’m actually surprised they didn’t charge us for our 20-month-old. Selection of meat tasted good but the variety of that and the salad bar was sub par. Go to Tucanos. Cheaper, better food, and superior salad bar.
Service and attitude of staff was typical Boise...very friendly, very efficient. I had been to other locations so knew what to expect from the food and it was very good. The only complaint, if any, would be the location of the windows for a dinner service in July and August when it is 90+ consistently. The blinds do an adequate job, but something to be aware of....restaurant temp was good, but sun in the face was less than pleasant.
From the moment you walk into the restaurant you feel nothing short of VIP. The decor is beautiful, the service impeccable and the food is mouth wateringly delicious.
The food was delicious, the service was stellar and the ambiance was comfortable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys this type of dining.
