For nearly 40 years, Texas Cattle Company, a family owned and operated restaurant, has been a local favorite serving only select U.S.D.A. Choice and Prime, three-year-old grain-fed beef. Texas Cattle Company steers clear of fancy cooking methods, flame-broiling our steaks on a custom built pit over a natural wood-burning fire made from Florida orange-wood and oak. Our managers cut & season our steaks daily to guarantee the absolute best tasting steaks anywhere! We also shop for the freshest local seafood and produce available to ensure that you will have an amazing dining experience.     As a first time visitor, we were very pleased with the service staff and especially with the quality of the food. As it is a higher priced establishment, one would hope for a higher quality meal and we were not disappointed. The Parmesan Chicken was very unique and delicious in its breading and sauce, the ribs were fall off the bone tender with a sweet in-house sauce. The most impressive was the T-bone cooked well done, but still moist and very tender. Best steak yet in my 20 years in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back.

    I recently went to the St Pete location because last time I went to Lakeland and it was horrible. So, I thought I would give St Pete a try. The food was 100% better. Our server tried hard, but he was obviously not very well trained and had to keep asking other staff the answers to our questions. It took us over an hour to get our main course, and the salad came out before the appetizer. Thats just wrong. Anyway, we enjoyed our meal, the steak and lobster were both very well seasoned and cooked perfect.

    Our waitress, Betty was cordial and informative, but not as attentive as we anticipated. Did not check back to see if we needed anything (drinks, condiments, etc.) and we found ourselves waiting watching for her, so we could yell across the room to get her attention.

    It was fairly quiet as not too many customers there this night. The waiter was excellent and the food good. It was my birthday and enjoyed the night very much.
