   I have never written a negative review of a restaurant, but after trying to resolve an issue that occurred on New Year's Eve 2018, I feel I have no choice. Members of our party were literally yelled at by the hostess and hostilely confronted by other Testo's personnel. We have been going to Testo's @ 5:30PM on New Year's Eve for at least the last five years, but last year will surely be our last. Several members of our party have written Ralph Giacobbe, the owner, and I have called him at least half a dozen times. Our letters have gone unanswered, and whenever I call, I have "JUST missed him." I recently received a call from his assistant that he'd been dealing with a family emergency, but that he was fully aware of the situation, and he would take my call the next day. (His reaching out to me was clearly not an option.) Foolishly, I believed her, and I called again. The result.... I "JUST missed him." Giacobbe hides behind his employees, several of whom could benefit from training in customer service. We paid for our meal, and it appears that is really all that matters to him. If your idea of a good time is to be subjected to some of the worst customer service ever, this is the place for you; if not, there are several other great Italian restaurants in the area with delicious food and warm, respectful waitstaff, and you should bypass Testo's.
