A high communal table sits between the bar and dining room and offers seating for up to 10 diners. Additional walk-in seating is available on 3 high tops in the front window. Espresso leather banquets line the dining room. A more intimate back dining room can be booked for private parties of up to 18.
Inspired by the wine bars and cafes of Sicily, Rome, Seville & Madrid, wines are stored along the walls of the dining room. An original fireplace was refurbished and is lit when the weather is chilly out. Stylish lighting creates a chic atmosphere.
What Insiders Are Saying
Meet Terzo, your utility player restaurant. It's hard to go wrong at this Cow Hollow bistro.
I've never been thanked by so many staff members when exiting a restaurant! I wish I had Terzo in my neighborhood. I'd have a standing reservation.
Great Valentine dinner with my husband and daughter!!
We got a small table right next to the fireplace. We shared a few small plates - the lamb kefta was out of this world. Fresh buffalo Mozerlla with Focaccia was also delicious. My favorite was the house made gnocci. Service was great - professional, friendly.
this place remains so consistent in food quality. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting and our server was A+++
Very good food and environment. I’ll definitely come back
The food at Terzo was excellent. The most notable attribute was the culinary execution. The food was all excellent, which was noticeable even on the simpler dishes in which the execution and crisp flavors were outstanding. The quality, cook, and seasoning of the meats were amazing but also that the small plates had simple but beautiful flavors.
We took advantage of Dining Out San Francisco and had the three course fixed price including wine pairings at a ridiculously low price. The food was marvelous: red snapper en papillote, pork belly “stew” and flower less chocolate cake. The wines were food, not knock-your-sock-off. Our waiter, Ron, was a superstar. We’ll go back soon, even at the regular price.
Absolutely wonderful!! Server was Fantastic and good was GREAT!!
Second time at Terzo, can't wait to go back. Food is outstanding, truly outstanding.
Good food, nice service, but WAY TOO LOUD for conversation.
Terzo never disappoints. The food is delicious, the service friendly and outstanding. It is one of the neighborhood favorites we choose when out-of-town friends visit.
The food was delicious, the staff was top notch! Can’t wait to go back!
We loved everything about the meal - atmosphere was on point, food was outstanding, and service very attentive. Would definitely come back!
Always good! But $10 for a draft beer?
This is my favorite place in San Francisco and I have been in Michelin star places here. Amazing value.
The food was amazing and our server was wonderful!!
Wondeful! Reminded us of NY!
Wonderful experience all around! Great staff! Ron took excellent care of us as always! Terzo is one of the best neighbourhood restaurants in the city. Food is outstanding and desserts were exceptional. Don’t pass up the hummus or flourless chocolate cake! Menu offers a number of small plates great for sharing as well as larger portions. We love the smaller plates which allows us to try more items. Our annual girls night out was a memorable one thanks to Terzo!
This is my favorite go to spot for a great meal with no fuss and always delicious!
Friendly & attentative servers. Soft leather, stone and natural wood decor. Understated, leaning toward Scandinavian vs Mediterranean decor. Great food! Every dish is fresh and perfectly prepared.
Music is TOO loud, and I love music, sound tracks are also odd...more for rockin out to than dining to
The service was great, everything we had was delicious. We started with Hummus and Grilled Halloumi Cheese dish. Both were delicious, especially the pita and the grilled Halloumi Cheese. My main, the Braised Nieman Ranch Pork Shoulder was amazing! The meat was so tender and fell apart easily with the fork. My date's Morroccan Style Braised Chicken was really good too. The restaurant filled up really quick even though we got there a bit early. Reservation recommended.
Excellent as always!!
Our first visit to Terzo...absolutely outstanding. We've eaten at all the other Open Table top 100 in SF and Terzo didn't disappoint. It deserves its place on the list.
Excellent service and the food was amazing.
Terzo is dependably excellent. Great food in a cozy space.
My friends and I love Terzo. It's a neighborhood gem and the staff always makes us feel like family. Food is consistently wonderful. One of the few places I can get a glass of Lambrusco.
My favorite neighborhood restaurant! Never disappoint me!
First time guest with my niece, shown to a tiny table at the very end of the back of the restaurant, I believe it was towards the rest room area. Very low ceiling light, not suitable at all. We opted for the bar, food was OK!
Fantastic meal and our 13yo loved it too. Great neighborhood restaurant.
We were there for two hours and had to cancel our third small plate.
The cauliflower soup was delightful. Very crisp and clean flavor. A little bland for me but the crouton and the creme added a nice touch. - .5 Star
The dish that disappointed me the most were the artichokes. I was really expecting to be wow’d by a slow cooked artichoke. With an ingredient that can be gritty or tough I was curious what slow cooking would bring out in the flavor. What it tasted like wes a fresh-out-of-the-can artichoke, it was salty and briny and uninspired. I was really looking forward to that dish!
The beets were unbalanced. At the end of the day it was a pile of beets; and while I love beets the ratio was very off to the other concepts on the plate.
The bruschetta was a solid option, while it is hard to go wrong with great bread, ricotta, apples and honey it was genuinely well done. The bread was perfectly toasted and even the apple skin melted in your mouth. The salad on top also helped cut the sweetness and richness of the dish although I would have preferred the peppery-ness of arugula. - .5 star
The calamari I would cone back for. Absolutely solid choice. Very flavorful lentil stew. Calamari cooked to perfection. - 1 Star
To finish off, the almond cake was very refreshing and surprisingly light. It appears to be a dense cake when it is brought out but definitely rounds out the meal nicely and on a fresh note. - 1 Star
Service was attentive and beyond reproach, really really great team.
Ambiance was warm and inviting while also playing with your sense using creative mirror placement and clear light fixture. Open, cozy and very Mediterranean feel.
I don’t understand how this restaurant has gotten such good reviews. My daughter and I each ordered an appetizer and entree. Out of the four dishes, only one was tasty. The red sauce on my daughter’s pasta tasted like Ragu. I had one of their specialties — the Moroccan chicken, I love Moroccan food, I’ve been to Morocco. The chicken leg was swimming in a watery sauce that had no taste. We did like the toast with ricotta cheese, apples and honey, but I’ve had that at other restaurants and it is simple, hard to screw up. The arugala salad was just a big bunch of arugula with a few pear pieces and something else and a tasteless dressing,
I would never go back to Terzo.
Always incredible service, a great ambiance, and most importantly DELICIOUS FOOD. Terzo is always a top choice of mine. Highly recommend!
Lovely meal. We met a couple of friends and four of us shared a variety of small and large plates. Great food, warm attentive service. Not cheap
Fabulous . Wonderful
Seated on time, gracious friendly service, great selection of small plates that are well executed with exceptional ingredients
Terzo is fantastic. The food is always so delicious, with great service. It is a cozy place and the servers make you feel at home.
Always consistently delicious food and great service. Neighborhood gem!
