It was our first time and we happened to visit the last night before Bars and Restaurants were closed due to COVAD-19. Only 3 tables were occupied. The staff was small be very attentive. They encouraged us to take our time and ask questions. They provided a lot of information on the menu items.
The food was very good. Every item was cooked well. I especially liked the goat cheese cheese cake.
We plan to visit again and see how it compares with more patrons.
Terrific food and experience as always. We look forward to Tersiguel's repoening following the coronavirus.

The food was French, not the usual, and very good. Its not the cheapest French restaurant in the area, but is very good.
The best lite fluffy moist omelet I've had in years! The Grav Lax finish was perfect and the accompanying water salad perfectly dressed for Spring. The blueberry cheese cake didn't disappoint either, a perfect balance of fruit and cream cheese topped with a quenelle of whipped cream without being overly sweet.
Always a perfect night out. We enjoyed a lovely meal from beginning to end.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Tersiguel's. The restaurant is very old house on Main Street in Ellicott City. The downside is that parking can be an issue, but the restaurant quaint and charming and yet very efficient and functional. The service was fantastic, almost too much. The food was wonderful, so many unique flavors and options. My only concern was the price. $45 dollars for a filet and creamed spinach seems high to me. My meal was bay scallops and beet risotto, although it was delicious, not sure it was worth $39.
Our server was very nice but not competent at all. He made several mistakes. He brought my entree at the same time he brought our appetizers. He messed our bill up twice. We finally gave up on him getting it right. We were enjoying a leisurely meal with friends and the server kept asking us if we if we were ok. We decided we were his last table and he wanted to go home.

Sunday brunch is the best value - same excellent food for significantly less money.
Tersigual's is always our special occasion favorite. Our food and drink selections were amazing! Our server Nicki was professional, attentive and friendly.

We often go to support EC but we felt about neglected when a party of 6 came to brunch. I suppose they tip better or they knew the chef because the chef came to check on them 3 times and never asked us how the food was.The side dish I ordered was cold so I sent back although they didn't charge me I felt I bothered them. I'm not sure if I'll return.

Amazing service - wonderful French wine selection - delicious dinner
As much as we enjoyed the ambiance and location of this restaurant, the service was not up to par. Our drinks were watered down and not as expected. My husband ordered a Manhattan, and the drink was not consistent to the ingredients the drink requires. Also, my apple martini was also not consistent-as the drink was 'red' instead of 'green'. We enjoyed the environment too much to worry about such erroneous drinks served, so we continued with our dinner. Furthermore, 6.00$ for 1 cup of hit tea was a bit high, given the fact that it was only one tea bag and very little variety to choose from.
Lastly, the food was of good quality, however we would have liked to have a bigger selection to choose from. Our server was very knowledgeable and we appreciate the details she provided for us.

My husband and I have celebrated Valentine’s Day here for the last three years and will continue to do so. We’ve had their special menu the last two years and it was exquisite. While it is definitely pricey, the food matches that price. The service is always wonderful. We recommend this place to everyone we know who wants a nice evening out.
My wife and I have dined here for dinner previously and loved everything about our experience so we decided to check out brunch. We started with a bloody mary and mimosa, which were both superb, and enjoyed a half-dozen oysters on the half shell. Next was the main course of an omelette with fresh mushrooms and the french toast special with berry compote and fresh made whipped cream. The service was impeccable and both entrees were delicious! We wished we had room for dessert once we were finished, but we decided to save our afternoon from naps and instead finish with a cup of coffee. We can't wait to return!

This is a WONDERFUL restaurant, in the tradition before there were restaurant chains. We’ve never been disappointed. The food, the service, and the appearance of the restaurant are all impeccable. We first went to this restaurant probably 30-40 yrs ago (in a different location), and the experience is just as warm and inviting as ever.
I know you're trying and as a small biz owner I look to support other small businesses but the pricing, ambience and value was really lacking on the Valentine's Weekend offerings and since ir was also my Anniversary it really hit a little harder. I do hope your restaurant is able to continue to improve your offerings and value proposition for customers going forward
We were helped with the wine selection and our server nailed it. Chef menu on point with options for bone seafood eaters.
We went Feb 15th when they were still on their prix fixe menu and not the standard offerings. While the service was professional, the food was lackluster. Understanding on a fixed menu not everything is to your taste, but the food seemed tired or poorly paired. The shrimp starter didn’t pair well with the acidic base. The poached salmon was cold. The filet course was excellent if again a bit too cooled. The pear salad wasn’t tasty or exciting. The dessert was quite good.
I wouldn’t go again during their « rush » period and would question whether to go again anytime soon, regardless of the date.

I was very pleased with this restaurant , the employees are really nice and make you feel welcomed .The poached salmon was my favorite , I would definitely recommend to check this place out.
First Tersiguel's is one of my favorite restaurants - thus, my comments are only meant to improve the experience. First, instead of some domestic sparking white you really should find an affordable French champagne to serve. They are just better. Second, I realize how Valentine's Day is chaotic but the dinner offerings could have been a little more expansive. The menu (while excellent) was fixed to one item per course. Finally, you really need to expand the wine list - the offerings while decent were lacking in at least premier crus. Nonetheless, Tersiguels remains a favorite "go to" restaurant. Cheers, NJCJR
Great place in the middle of Ellicot City. Fixed menu for Valentine's day was amazing! Atmosphere was great for our date, staff was very attentive, but also let us enjoy our night. Each course was delicious...salmon was our favorite. Thanks!
You are in good hands at Tersiguels’s — the chefs know what they are doing with classic french food, and the staff knows how to help you enjoy your time there. We had not enjoyed a dinner there in 15 years, but were pleased to return and find the same excellent food, ambiance and service.
I would not come back for any special event prix fix menu again. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to skip prix fix dining at Tersiguel's. For nearly $ 300 with a tip and wine, it is not worth it. The first course of shrimp was just okay, and the dessert was good, but the salmon was plain and had little flavor. The pear seemed and tasted like a last minute add on. Even more disappointing was the filet. It was cold and was tougher than expected. Wine was acceptable. Afterwards, I realized why there were tables available a day before the Valentine's day. I hope they start to up their game, and not rest on their long history. There are so many better options in the harbor east at a better price point.
Great spot for Valentine's Date night. Menu was great (especially the shrimp appetizer and flourless chocolate cake). The pace felt a bit rushed (reservation was for 2 hours, and we were done eating in an hour and 15 minutes). Did not have a chance to enjoy our cocktails before the 1st course arrived. Also the steaks while cooked perfectly, came out cold (not warm, cold).
C’est Magnifique for Valentines Day
This was our first visit, and a better Valentine's Day treat cannot be imagined. This was a prix fixe with five courses. Service was superb and each course was interesting and unique while still respecting the natural taste of the ingredients. Wine list is great, leaning heavily to a range of California wines covering all the price points. We had the Napa Faust Cabernet which was exquisite. looking forward to our next visit and an exploration of the menu.
Americanized French. Not traditional escargot, a runny concoction, for example. Should drop the buckwheat crepe, tastes like straw. Chef needs to take the French chef course at the Cordon Bleu school in Paris.
Food is creative and tasty. Service was pleasant but spotty, particularly in attention to details. For example, no spoon came with the soup, which was served without adequate heat to begin with, and was quite cold by the time we chased down a spoon. My erstwhile companion used his coffee spoon in the meanwhile. No replacement knife came with my entree. Salt was begrudgingly brought to the table for brunch dishes with eggs, and my food was doused with fresh ground pepper before I could get the waiter to stop. There was no attention to refill g cream or replenishing bread. Overall the service was amateurish for a restaurant of this caliber. Desserts are a no - while the main menu is above average, desserts are a letdown. The pound cake came toasted just like a piece of toast, thin and rather tasteless. The flourless chocolate cake was the best dessert offering but only average.
