Lovely evening at Terroirs as always. Food is always exciting and freshly prepared...and service is lovely and friendly..love supporting them!
Good to visit a local haunt for lucnh with the hubbie before we move ino tier3. We enjoyed charcuterie as a starter, hake/chicken as mains, and brownie for dessert. Washed down with a few glasses of wine as recommended by the waitress. Very quiet environment which was lovely for us, but definitely not the place for a racous group lunch!
Always great. Fantastic wines at reasonable prices.
This was a very rare and uncharacteristic disappointment - I am sure it will not be repeated - starters too small and crab hardly evident main course of ragout good but again v small portion -
It was great as ever!
Great place for an informal family get together. Very baby friendly.
Great food and a really lovely team - really enjoyed our evening!
This is a fantastic place to have a great simple meal over a wonderful glass of lovely French wine. One of our favourite places. The staff are fantastic
Considering it is a wine bar we didn't get offered the drinks list wjen we arrived or asked for any further drinks. We had to call over the waitress a couple of times on that front.
Staff member working was an absolute star.
She worked her socks off as it was busy...
Food was great as always
Visiting a restaurant during the COVID period can be iffy. Will there be giant plastic dividers driving a very medical-centre feel? Will it be too crowded? Will I feel like I am dining at the dentists office? Terriors balanced this very well. The tables were spaced amply, and there was no overt shroud of plastic everywhere. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The food was good and the overall atmosphere was abuzz and not overwhelming. We will be returning.
Lovely small plates and natural wines and atmosphere
Lovely evening. Relaxed with great food and lovely wine.
We had good wine and very tasty food
We are regular customers , it is always a pleasure to dine at Terroirs
Catered to this 'new normal' excellently, well looked after, food was excellent, well priced and arrived on time. Ideal!
All good with the evening - food and service excellent. Negative points for having to eat an expensive meal in our coats. Door was left ajar for ventilation but room was inadequately heated for comfort. I realise this is in light of the current pandemic but this should have been explained in advance so we could have chosen whether to attend or to request a table away from the door. Having customers eat in discomfort is not a good look. As it was the waitress was able (after awhile) to move us further away from the door but it was not a pleasant experience from that point.
Amazing food! Only issue is that we were served the wrong wine!
Beautiful food and great wine selection, felt very covid safe whilst in the dining room. Staff were all friendly and helpful!
Great lunch with a sneaky bottle of red. Attentive service and lovely food.
Great small plates. Super friendly staff. Tasty wine. Only wish we'd had time for dessert.
Nice wines and food but definitely overpriced. Some plates like the cheese and charcuterie selection could be much better and richer.
Fabulous food, excellent service.
House red great too.
A lovely evening.
Very enjoyable meal with well matched wines. Good, friendly service.
Great meal thanks very much, we will most certainly be back!
Really great food and wine selection, with reasonable prices and decent portion sizes....service was relaxed and friendly....we will be back!
Delicious food and brilliant service. A great place to go for dinner I’d highly recommend it
We had the sparkling wine and a Sauvignon black but neither were great wines for a wine bar. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Olive tapenade isn’t great.
Amazing food.
Great staff and a fat selection of wine to choose from.
Great food and armosphere as always really. However service was engaged in other activities, very slow, not noticing customers. As Anthony Bourdains used to say avoid restaurants on Mondays....
Delicious dinner and lovely wine - really enjoyed our visit
Very impressed with the food. Relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Probably a bit overpriced, but since the food is genuinely good, you might not mind for the occasional meal.....
Not veggie friendly food at all. But great wine and one of the waitresses was lovely. Just dont rate the food choices at all
Great service, delicious wine, interesting menu. I would recommend for a date or a group of friends!
Was really excited to eat here but found the portion sizes extremely small for the prices they charge. Im sure all the ingredients are well sourced but £16 for a piece of beef less than 2 inches long and half a lettuce was way over priced. The starter was also served with subsitutions that were not advertised to us and was again small for the price. That being said the service was great but we would not rush back due to the portion sizes/prices.
Great food drink and service. However at no point during booking or for the first 45mins of our meal were we told that we only had the table for 90mins. Disappointing. As we were rushed off our table with a glass of wine left to drink onto a side table on the 90th minute. Not cool on any level. Please make this clear to future customers as if I had known this I would have booked elsewhere.
Honestly cannot fault the staff, or setting, or wine! I asked to change reservation very close to my allotted time, which was no problem (other bookings allowed for it). I arrived earlier than my friend and the staff were attentive while I drank alone for a short time! - then were a continued source of fun and friendly chat throughout our time there. We were even given another table after our booked slot had finished, so we could finish the last glasses without rushing.. and also bought bottles from the shop, even though it was technically closed at that point.
Second time i have vistited in the last month, will be back for more, I don't even live in that part of london! - worth the trip!
Lovely wine.
Fantastic staff and gorgeous food. We had the charcuterie and cheese with almonds/olives for starters. Great place for lunch and extensive top-qual wine list.
Perfect mid week lunch and three of us. Plenty of room in the restaurant for my friend's pram. Really great selection of natural wines by the glass. The food was fresh and delicious.
I’m a passionate cook and love the whole dining experience. I never sit at a restaurant with particularly high expectations of what is about to be served. Terroirs have given me another problem altogether, the food was so good I am nervous about going back for fear of being disappointed! However, I am looking forward to the event with relish! Thanks to everyone at Terroirs for a superb meal.
