Fantastic menu, the portions were perfect and everything was delicious & creative. Max was awesome and we will be back (as frequently as possible)!

As always, the food pairing for the wine tasting was fantastic. We always have a wonderful time at Terroir. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; the food is interesting and extremely well executed.

The food was great and the service was knowledgeable and not rushed. The plates are on the small side which is A-ok. As close to a Paris sidewalk bistro as you'll find in Boise.

Ok, so….full disclosure, I used to work with a lot of the folks at Terroir, and I myself am in the industry. That all being said, I brought my kiddos (10&11, the 11 year old really starting to come into his own as a foodie) for a beginning of summer celebration. I saw a lot of the same regulars in the dining room that I saw when I worked with everyone, and I saw many brilliant new faces as well, which makes my heart incredibly happy. Everything was delicious, timed nicely, perfect textures and flavors….comfort food with just enough of a twist on the traditional and potentially boring to make it new and interesting while still satisfying the comfort food tooth. The morel pasta (my son’s order)….omg….simple yet perfect. Little man said it may have been his favorite meal out ever. And he’s a discerning consumer for his age. My daughter had the chicken and dumplings and loved it (the chicken had such a perfect, golden brown sear and was still so juicy!). I had the steak tartare, and it was perfect. The combination with the truffle fries was just the most savory of savory delights. I love these guys. Y’all should too. Seriously a wonderful business to support.

What a terrific place to dine on a summer evening with the sun blocked by the buildings and the auto traffic blocked by pollards. Great fare not seen elsewhere, and friendly, attentive staff.

We found our new favorite restaurant in Boise. Incredible food, impeccable service, elegant yet homey ambiance. We’ll be back again and again!
