High prices but not high quality service or food. Unfortunately the food was bland and unseasoned. We got the caprese salad to start which had no dressing or seasoning on - the mozzarella was dry and generally the dish tasted like supermarket produce. we had two pasta dishes which were also bland and didn’t come with parmesan, olive oil, salt or pepper. We also got a side of rocket and shaved parmesan which was poor quality - the rocket was soggy and stuck together and the parmesan was nowhere to be seen/skimpy - again no olive oil, dressing or seasoning. The Aperol spritz were fine, which you’d expect higher quality at £12 per drink. And the service was basic and bordering on negligible. I also made a reference on the booking that we were there to celebrate my friend’s birthday, however despite the note there was no acknowledgment. This was such a disappointment :(

I booked the restaurant for dinner and yet was only given 1.5hrs and then to compound things the waiter spilt drink over my jeans and new trainers. He apologised, but offered no compensation at all and I had to clean myself and my trainers are now stained. Disappointing overall

Service was very slow, they forgot certain items with orders, had to ask repeatedly for things. Food was average.

I’ve rated food a 5 based on observation only as I only had drinks and N/A is not an option for the food rating. Great place to meet and socialise. Quality of drinks really good but a bit on the high side. I would go back though. Good atmosphere. Staff were fairly attentive but busy; so we spent some time trying to catch staff attention for drinks and the bill.

Having lived in Italy for six years I was disappointed with the pizza. In Italy, I never had a sourdough base and I don’t like it. It was tough and chewy and I couldn’t finish it. I also ordered zucchini flowers and the batter on this should be delicate but at Eataly it was thick and crunchy. It wasn’t what I expected and I won’t be eating here again. The Spritz was OK but contained too much ice which reduced the actual alcohol in the glass.

Superb lunch. The food was delicious and the waiter suggested we try the 2 wines before we bought a bottle. We were not rushed at all. Good service too.

I ordered tonnarelli with courgette and prawns I received tagliatelle instead. It’s very different. Tagliatelle don’t have the same bite as tonnarelli. The pasta in my plate was badly cooked. Some of the tagliatelle were stuck together. I didn’t make a fuss, I was with three friends and the only Italian. Next time, if I go back to Eataly, I’ll be more vocal…

Service was so slow! For 20 minutes, no one showed up at the table to take our order. We had to call the waiter, and that waiter took our food wrong!
