Hostess said to us as we were sitting down “you have an hour and a half. Have a good evening”. Rude and disrespectful. The most noisy restaurant I have ever been to. Probably because they crammed 30% more tables in than should been there. Goal is $ and not customer satisfaction or experience.

From start to finish it was not a nice experience. I reserved on open table 3 days in advance yet we were sat very far from the so-so views of the river. The most expensive meal on the menu was steak, and it tasted like rubber because you aren't allowed to request how you like it cooked. Basically they charge steakhouse prices yet have plastic chairs...

On the 8th floor of Hotel William Gray. Wonderful view of Old Montreal. Great food and drinks and excellent service. Reservations needed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my flank steak - cooked to my exact specifications! I also enjoyed the shrimp sitting in a bed of microgreens with some pickled daikon. The drinks were creative and tasty. But- the thing that most impressed me was the view! Wow!

Overall, we were very happy with our brunch at Terrasse William Gray: service, food, drinks were all wonderful. However, if it is a hot, humid day, be aware that there may not be much of a breeze on that rooftop due to the partial, glass wall. Yes, it makes for a great, unimpeded view, but it also blocks the breeze and there were no fans to circulate the air. Several people around us also commented on it being hot. I would recommend this location and will likely go again - maybe just not on one of the hottest days of summer.

The avocado toast reminds me of diet dish seem so small not the usual American brunch plate. The view and the service was so good.
