Sadly they were very short staffed, I believe. Our dinner came late and appetizers came after dinner. One of our entrees was cold. The wait staff did not fill our waters or check on our table. The restaurant was noisy and cold. It was not a very relaxing experience for our anniversary dinner.

Extremely disappointed with the service. Couldn't get a refill on coffee or water. Waiter was not attentive. Food came out wrong and eggs were cold. The frittata was terrible. We have been to this restaurant before. Most likely will not go back.

Terrible service. Cold food. Both my husband and my meals were missing items - no sourdough bread with the breakfast plate, no egg on the burger which we ordered. Server didn't stop by the entire meal for us to alert him. Thanks but no thanks.

We unexpectedly booked lunch on the day of the Autumn Bounty and it just added to the ambiance of our dining. Brooke was our waitress and service was great. Her suggestions were spot on with the iced tea of the day with a little lemonade and lavender added. She also recommended the whole wheat pasta and mushroom dish which was delicious. My husband ordered off the brunch menu and was very happy as well. While we were at lunch we booked ahead for following weekend with friends. They are vegan and there were lots of choices. We’re sure they’ll love it too!

Everything about the meal was just o.k. Mushroom soup was cold when it came out and server never came around to give us an opportunity to send it back. “Terrain Breakfast” was not great. Eggs had black bits from a dirty grill all over them and potatoes were cold and almost stale tasting.

Good and ambiance was great. Unfortunately our waiter must of forgot about us we sat ready to leave for a good 15-20 minutes waiting to get checked on or ask if we wanted desert/check. There was a wedding party there so maybe we just got lost? Normally is usually good there with service.

We had brunch at Terrain and the food was all very good. Service was a little slow and I was disappointed we weren't able to get drink refills. We sat outside which was nice but the picnic benches are incredibly uncomfortable, would have preferred chairs outside.

The waiter rushed us through the meal as though they were closing the place at 9pm on a Saturday … they brought out the entrees when we were were in middle of our salads … we asked to please wait … the food was clearly Sat under the. Heat lamps. For 20 min …. The steak we got was in edible…. A very polite conversation yielded nothing …. Bush league service …. Go there for flower pots not food.

The meal was tasty although the mushroom soup was lacking something that it usually has. The bread used to always come out warm and soft. This time it seemed like it was hours out of the oven. My friend’s water glass and her teapot were both dirty, something that completely surprised us both. I suppose the cafe has just gotten so busy that it’s challenging to maintain the “specialness” it used to have.

Terrain in Glen Mills has been one of our favorite places over the years. Needless to say we are fans. We brought our son and his fiance for his birthday dinner last night, and was disappointed in the total experience. All the food that came from the kitchen was cold to lukewarm -from the appetizers to the entrees. Could not track down servers, they would appear too late and be gone in a flash. We never received the bread in the clay pot. when I pointed it out, they said sorry and then it still never arrived. There are major disconnects with the service here, this has happened before, I hope they can fix the issues. Poor service and cold food what a disappointing birthday dinner.

They normally get things right, but this time, they goofed a bit. The shrimp and grits is usually pretty good, but the grits were just too damn salty. The shrimp was fine. The brussel sprouts and honey dressing were good. It was just the grits that had too much salt. The server seemed at a loss, but I just said it's all good, and not to worry. Hey, sometimes people have a bad day, ya know? Everything else was fine, and we're repeat customers, and I don't intend to stop visiting.

Went there specifically for dessert, the Chocolate Terrarium of course. Amber was a pleasant server and helped us decide on drinks (tea & latte) that were great. About half filled on a Friday evening and was quiet and relaxing.

This is my favorite lunch experience. Walk through Terrain before lunch to sniff, sample, and eye the luscious offerings and sit down to an unforgettable meal to contemplate and converse. My only wish is that my food could be warmer when served.
