Something is fishy. This is somehow rated as the #1 restuarant on Houston on Tripadvisor. This is most definitely not the #1 . Thats all I will say. Buyer beware.

Staff went above and beyond. I struggled finding location. Didn’t know from internet search that it was actually located inside of a hotel. It was a hike from the Peking garage to the restaurant but manager went above and beyond to help me and calm Me. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

My first time visiting Terrace 54 was in the heat of Houston’s summer in July 2023 and we dined inside. For this visit in October 2023, we started on the terrace and only transitioned inside as the sun began to shift. The umbrellas were a good size, but no match for a shifting sun and that is not something you can control. So, no problems there at all. Our server was Ebone and she gave such a calm and yet energetic vibe that upon my next visit I will ask to be seated in her section. The nature is this visit was a business meeting with my bridal couple for their upcoming nuptials. The location was only 5 minutes away from their wedding venue and perfect for the following site visit. We all enjoyed our meals and cocktail options.

Supposedly 3 servers called out…one bartender and one server in entire restaurant…we didn’t even get to order and left…they should of just closed the restaurant

We planned to have a breakfast with our friends, but we didn't get our breakfast at all. We came at 10.00, we had one child and one deep pregnant woman! We ordered our breakfast, but during one hour we just got coffees, nothing else. Our water ignored us, looked like a discrimination! We asked other waiter at 11.00, he told that the kitchen is overloaded. But other guests (all of them) which came later, already got their breakfast, looks strange, right?! We escalated this to Managers at 11.20 we detailed explain the case and highlighted that our cute girl and pregnant woman is hungry, but nothing!!! So we decided to leave this place immediately and get our breakfast in another place. Manager catch up and told us ‘I’m pushing the kitchen’. Is this case just to push the kitchen?! We left the worst place ever. So, finally we were very hungry and spent $60k for parking (4 cars *4). Nobody hasn't called back!

I had to send my steak back a couple of times because it was cold for whatever reason. The manager did come out and have the whole meal remade and it was hot that time. Good service. Food was a 3/5 nothing amazing but was ok

I wanted to provide payment information for the reservation, as I was not going to be present. I called the restaurant 5 times and never received a return call. If someone would have called and told me they don't accept that type of information, that would have been nice. I even called the hotel and they told me the manager of the restaurant would call me back. Never did.

It took us over 45 minutes to get our drinks, which was after we were done with our dinner. When we asked about the status of our drinks, we were told the bar was backed up and there was nothing they could do. The food was not great. Our pizza was no better than a frozen pizza. Our server was inattentive and did not check in despite our efforts to get her attention as they did not have the resources to handle a large crowd before a concert. Overall disappointed.

We visited prior to the Taylor Swift Eras tour. The service was slow - it took almost an hour to receive our drinks. The food was timely and very good.

Chose to eat here before heading to a concert nearby. Food and drinks were pretty good, but waited for an hour after receiving drinks before seeking assistance with placing a food order because no one had come back by our table. Not sure if it was an off night, but it seems as though communication between host, servers and bars could really use a rethink.

I enjoyed every moment of my visit. This was part of me and my husband’s staycation experience. Only sad thing was that the patio was closed at the time. Our bartender and server was awesome. Shout out to Cedric.

Food was good. Service was virtually nonexistent. We are outside where there were a number of tables and I think we went 10-15 minutes without seeing a single server on the entire patio.

Were in town for the Final Four and chose this restaurant because of good online reviews. The hostess and waitress were both delightful; very friendly. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Entrees came out before our two appetizers. One appetizer was brought out much later than the other. Dinner order were wrong, and one side order never arrived. My son asked for steak sauce which never arrived. But for the pleasantness of the hostess and waitress, the overall rating would have been much worse.

This venue did not honor the happy hour prices when they brought the check. It took more than 15 for them to figure out the right amount they were supposed to charge me for the food and drinks.

The waitress was on point. Food was underseasoned; the chicken was seasoned on the inside; only the skin. The potatoes were bland and tasteless with absolute zero seasoning. Cheeseburger was good for the most part, but the meat patty was slightly dry. French fries were on point.

We were seated at 1:00 pm got our drinks at 2:00 pm and left at 2:40. We never got our food with many complaints to servers and manager. It was at 2:40 when we were saying we were going to leave that they told us the food was ready. Not a great way to start my bachelorette weekend. Worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant and will never go back

We enjoyed the food. Very good. Waiting and waiting for it was not so good. While I understand some kitchens are a bit slower I do not understand why our server gave our appetizer to another table and why it took so long to get our drinks refilled. Big gaps in servicing our table.

The restaurant is open plan and located in the Westin hotel, so not the venue we expected. The food was good none-the-less and the service we got from Rui was great. Ambiance was lacking but it is a good option to eat decently in the neighborhood.

Roi was an excellent waiter, very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the food and view. We were at Methodist for a medical procedure and highly recommend this area for an extended stay.

This was probably the best meal we have had in a very long time!! We are staying at the Westin to be close to our grandsons hospital.. we were absolutely shocked when we ate the first night.. we have been back 3 times in 2 days!! And will be eating here again tonight.. we are eating our way through the menu. The steak frites and wedge salad are amazing.. the crusted cauliflower and sesame hummus are the best damn appetizers.. You will not be disappointed by one thing!! The pineapple mocktail (with added Tito’s) is so flavorful.. This is a must try restaurant..

Found Terrace 54 online and it had solid good recommendations, so took visiting family there - chose to dine outdoors on the rooftop dining area and it was lovely because the weather was perfect. Brenda was our server and was delightful in all ways. Reservations didn't seem to be needed because the evening we ate there (a Saturday evening) wasn't busy. Plenty of parking garages nearby. The food was splendid and the pizza cooked to perfection and the other dishes were delicious. No issues. The staff take great pride in what they do it seemed.

Service was horrible. Slow, inattentive and unwelcoming. Food was good but ridiculously overpriced. I was an overnight guest at the Westin the entire week and this was true in ALL aspects of the hotel, but most apparent in the restaurant and patio. I don't hold the servers responsible for all of it, there seems to be a culture of bad attitudes starting from the top management of the hotel. I overheard two managers interviewing a prospective employee in the lobby one afternoon and the comments they made about the current staff instigating drama were abhorrent. One manager even rolled his eyes after a guest walked away from him and he knew I was standing there waiting to speak with him! A MANAGER!! The front desk staff smiled and were polite, the hosts at the restaurant was great, the older gentleman who brings water and menus was polite and hard working and the bartender was efficient and polite. But you get the sense that nobody really cares about the guests because the working culture is so negative. The servers do not smile, they do not act like they want to be there, it is a huge burden for them to come to your table and actually wait on you. I was ignored almost every visit. On my reserved evening, I was not ignored of course, but the server clearly did not know what the menu was and how it had changed that week. Then, made excuses and wanted to make sure I understood it was the kitchens fault my order was not what had been communicated to me. The really amazing thing is that I overheard a man on the plane making almost the exact comments about his experiences.

Overall, this was a nice spot to dine in an outdoor venue. As it is on a 5th floor terrace, it had great views, little street noise, and an "upscale" feeling. Food was very good and the restaurant handled a food allergy without problem. The service was a little "spotty" but overall was acceptable and the pace was certainly unhurried.Nice spot for a casual dinner or informal business meal.
