Hold your horses because Terra Gaucha is coming to Nebraska in the spring of 2025! The unparalleled flavors of the Ultimate Churrasco Experience are heading to the Midwest again. It’s with great pleasure that we’ll be coming to Omaha soon with the best of Brazilian cuisine!

Our new location will be a complete remodel of the former Charleston’s restaurant with a new addition to it for private events and functions, so you can come celebrate in style with us. You can see what will be in store for you in the gallery below!

Located in the historic neighborhood of Boys Town, just outside the W Dodge Road, Terra Gaucha will offer residents and tourists alike an authentic Gaúcho-style dining experience filled with flavor and tradition.

My family went for my mother’s birthday. They had never been to a place like this. It was awesome. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing.

The hostess at the front table ignored us and sat other people that arrived long after we had checked in. Food was great. Our server was very slow and he handed me the electronic tab with his tip already selected, we did not like that all. The restaurant is way too loud for a table conversation and I couldn’t hear our server. This place is very expensive. If we go back will definitely have to budget for it, which will make the restaurant easier for us to forget about it or decide we can’t afford it.

It was a bit confusing, until we witnessed food service to nearby tables. Very interesting dining format. Enjoyed the food selections offered, and method of delivery to individual plates.

We very much enjoyed this restaurant. Being one of the first people to arrive we decided to have a drink at the bar. It was clear that our bartender, Michelle was not necessarily ready for customers yet and honestly could’ve been a little more pleasant. We moved onto our table and we’re pleasantly greeted by our waiter. The salad bar is excellent and a great number of outstanding options. Great selection of meats, however, the house specialty pichana was a little dry this time. Would be great if this restaurant serves chicken hearts. We appreciate the service attention however, at some point, staff may need to consider backing off a little bit as we had to continually tell them to bring our plates and our drinks back as we were not finished - LOL. Bathrooms could use a little cleaning before the evening meal service. Enjoy this restaurant and will be back.

Second time here. Food is outstanding. Drink menu is excellent—love all the fresh ingredients in the cocktails. Ambience is very pleasant—great for a date night or with the whole family. Service though….very green. Management take note: 1. If the hostess is seating a party of 6 with a reservation and still has to wait a few minutes before being seated, she should not bring the guests to a table set for 5. 2. We waited a half hour for our first, and therefore only, round of drinks. Thank you manager who stepped in to help the server and offered free desserts to make up for it, but I think we all know it would have been better if the drinks were brought out in a reasonable time. We would have happily ordered another round. (Side note, the tres leches was fantastic—recommend to anyone dining there!) 3. The gauchos need more training. On our first visit last month they did not respect the red side of the card. NO means NO! Then last night, they were quite the opposite—hardly anyone stopped at our table even with the green side showing. The waitress did not offer assistance. Hopefully this restaurant gets the service figured out because the food and drinks are a step above Texas de Brazil. Will still give them another shot.

There were seven of us and we waited an additional 30 minutes for our table. Not that big of a deal as we were in no hurry. The food was very good. The service was good. It was very crowded and loud. The restaurant itself was lovely. Our only complaint was we did not realize that we had already been charged a tip when we went to pay our bill so we paid double the amount that we normally would. They need to make sure the customer is aware of that depending on the number of people being served.
