Music was loud and after we asked to turn it down they did but kept raising and lowering volume. Food was just OK and pricey. Would only go for a happy hour.
Enjoyed sitting outside music good but hard to talk to each other
Some people at the bar, but restaurant was mostly empty. The service was mediocre at best. Someone should tell the waitress it's okay to smile sometimes. Ordered off the specials menu ($20 for app, entree and a cannoli) - meatball app, chicken dish and the cannoli - all were good. We also shared a pizza. It was not good. The pizza was like pizza I'd expect at a stadium. Would come back if others were going there, but wouldn't go out of my way to come again.
We hadn't planned on eating here, but while walking by we heard superb Spanish guitar music emanating from this place, being played live by a virtuoso guitarist named Eric Hansen. We decided to have dinner here, mainly to listen to this amazing musician.
The music was great. The service, not so much. They seemed short-staffed. The cocktail I ordered took a while to come, and it wasn't at all worth the $14 price. It seems like the bartender failed to add enough vodka, or it was watered down. Not a good drink and would definitely not order a cocktail here again.
The food was okay, nothing great. It's the little things that mattered, like the bread. When it was first brought out, the bread was cold and hard. I asked the waiter if they served hot bread, and he said, "The bread wasn't hot?" So, he brought me out some other bread that was heated and it was much better. The garlic oil they serve with the bread is excellent. They need to make sure they don't serve cold, old bread.
Great location, great patio, and great music. If they can elevate the food and drink, it could be a hit.
The servers we had was excellent. Her name is Arielle, she was just fantastic,
and just a pleasure to talk too.
Have been here several times for family occasions. Always delicious
Tastly food, nice ambiance and huge portions. Would go back again.
Excellent food & excellent server however the coupon sent to my home re: $20 dinner did not indicate midweek nites only.
I think the coupon error should have been rectified by the restaurant. It was their error not mine!
Nice change. Food good, service good, too. Nice ambiance
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, SERVICE GREAT. COMPLAINTS -- WAS NOT GIVEN A ROUND TABLE FOR 7 PEOPLE AND A BIT NOISY. DID ENJOY THE ENTERTAINER AND WILL COME BACK AGAIN.
Great Italian neighborhood restaurant great pastas, nice wine list & good bread sit outside & people watch service always fine & food consistent
Excellent service. Table was reserved. Food was good, just a little overpriced
Consistently good food, good service and a great outdoor dining area. In a nice shopping area, as well.
I think we were overcharged for our meal. It was expensive for what we got.
Ordinary food, high priced. Service was very good.
One of my favorite restaurants for Italian food at the Delray Marketplace. We sat outside on a lovely Sunday evening. We enjoyed the music and the ambiance. The waitress got slammed with many customers being seated at the same time. She was pleasant and courteous, just very busy. My son ordered pizza as his main course and it was brought to the table way before the other entrees. I understand that pizza is cooked separately from the other dinners, but the timing was way off. Overall, the dinner was very good. We all enjoyed and we will return. I loved dining outside.
Service is always spot on!
Food was over the top excellent !!! Our waiter was Roberto Figueredo and he was right on time from the start to the finish. The manager came by and asked how everything was and that's always a plus. I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends. We will definately be back.
Thank you for the great experience !!!
Appetizers and food served together
Bread tasted like cardboard
Great place w great food. Lively atmosphere. Good 4 the kids. Portions are huge! Great value
We had a great experience! Our server, Robert, did an outstanding job.
I expected better. The crust on my pizza was soft. I prefer a bit more crustiness. But, above all else, the restaurant is very noisy. It was not full and yet it was difficult to hear.
Service was exceptionally slow. They told us we couldn’t order from a special menu became it was only for 5 people. However right on the menu it said 6 people. We did order from it. Food though was delicious.
Nice Italian Restaurant local gem great outdoor seating excellent pasta dishes & nice wine list
Food is good though not as described on menu. Waiter was terrible. Did not tell us his name, never told us there were specials. Waited long time to get check. Will try again, hopefully get different waiter.
Seated immediately with reservation! Big points for that since it was mobbed. Good always good, on the louder side. Love it for family dinners. We always get the big round table!!
Our server Rosana was terrific. The food was good. The value just so so. There are other restaurants just as good with better value. It is convienant for me in the Market Place.
We REALLY enjoy this place - the food is consistently good, love their Ultimat Cosmo, the service is usually not great (they are very nice, but there is often long wait for food...) HOWEVER, Roberto (I think that is his name, he's been there the longest) is AMAZING -by ANY standard!!!!
Good service can't outweigh the quality of the food. The clams oregetta were ok, nothing to write home about (and really tiny). My white clam linguine, while tasty, at $24 I thought was expensive. Hubby's piccante pizza? Dough too thick and at $18, another expensive item. Sorry, but we've had better at less expensive restaurants. All in all, have had better had other restaurants.
I had the Summer Special menu--a Chicken dish. the brown gravy did not go with what the dish was supposed to be and it was sooooo salty. also, the slab of chicken was about a 1/3 of a half breast!!!
My husband had a pasta dish and it was fine and a friend had a salad and her husband had fish.
Typical neighborhood Italian cuisine menu. Limited varieties of pasta. Kids' menu with decent sized servings. Service is fair. Servers disappear for periods of time although restaurant was not that busy. Good out door space with water sprayers.
Very friendly efficient staff. Food and drinks were very good. Definitely recommend
This was the worst Italian meal. I also stated that it was a birthday celebration when I made the reservation but nothing was ever said will never go again.
Friendly atmosphere and offers outdoor dining. If you want to ensure you sit inside make sure you have a reservation. However, the bar is great and the happy hour (only good at bar and high tops) is very reasonable. Food is good with reasonable size portions and prices. Just wish they had more appetizer options. We live local and visit often so we definitely recommend the place.
We once again brought friends to enjoy the dinner & ambiance of one of our favorite local restaurants. It was a hot evening, but we enjoyed the patio nevertheless, since the breeze was preferable to dining indoors. Our friends enjoyed their shrimp entrees, while my husband and I ordered our favorites, veal parmigiana & chicken allesandro. Salads were delicious as usual, & wine choices were ample. Arielle was our server, & as outstanding as she was in previous visits. A lovely dinner out!
The food was as mediocre as our server. The ‘truffle’ flat bread was tasteless as if it was premade and heated up. The lasagna was decent. The only thing I can say is they had a decent wine selection. They need to pick up the level of food in my opinion.
First visit here with friends. First impressions- unorganized and short staffed. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy. Water was not refilled. After finishing a glass of wine, another was not offered. The cannoli was not the quality one would expect at this type of restaurant. Mostly likely mass produced off site. Also, black flies inside were extremely annoying. Keep the windows behind the bar closed! No one enjoys a meal with flies constantly buzzing your face and landing on your plate. Even though this was a mediocre first try, my friends and I have decided to give it another try only because the pizza looked really good.
We came to see Eric Hansen perform and introduce our friends to him as he is exquisite. He always plays great places. We now have a new favorite Italian restaurant! The food was glorious. The service was stupendous. The over all experience was beyond expectation. We had a great variety: Cesar Salad, Eggplant Parm, Angel Hair Alfredo, Chicken Bolognese, and the signature Frozen Sangria! Big portions! Took home lots. All perfect!
Always a pleasure. I am waiting to be able to go during the week when I understand, during summer, they have a great prix fixe menu.
No matter if you eat outside or inside, the food is scrumptious. On one occasion we had magnificently prepared pizza; on this occasion we and our guests had entrees cooked perfectly. One of my guests was so enthralled with his Shrimp Parmigiana that he called the manager over to tell him about it and that it was the first time in his four years in Florida that he had it cooked so well and perfectly. My favorite dish is Veal Sorrentino but it wasn't on the menu. Our Server, Cole, said he would speak with the chef -- and it resulted in me getting the dish prepared for me. I heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants authentic Italian food prepared meticulously. And ask for Cole as your server .... you'll not be disappointed.
