Really bad experience. Food took over an hour to come out and all we got was quesadillas and tacos. Drinks also took forever. Food portions are also so small for how overpriced everything is. Bad service and food was just ok. We finally were able to get the check after 2 hours of being there. I was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and didn’t order dessert like I wanted to for them because I didn’t want us to have to wait another hour for it.

We've been to Tequila Escape many times. It's been hit or miss. I've found if you go when it's a special occasion (i.e. Mother's day), the service falls off significantly. Upon arrival we were seated quickly and our waiter was friendly and put in our order. The appetizer came out fairly quickly. That's where it went downhill. After finishing the guac and chips the empty plate sat on our table for over 30 minutes. Our waiter barely checked in with us and never asked if we wanted any more drinks. We also never heard from him after we received our main course to check in. The main courses took over an hour to arrive, and when they did our steak was overcooked (we asked for it rare and it came out well done), and one of the paella's had to be sent back to be re-heated. Both paella's were dry. During the long wait we all lost our appetite, only had a few bites, and took the leftovers home. Upon receiving the check we were charged for a street corn we ordered but never received. Upon raising it the waiter took it off the bill. I chose this restaurant for a special Mother's day and now regret that choice as my wife was very unhappy. This may be the last straw and I'm not sure I'd go back.

Disappointing Mother’s Day brunch. Service was great, drinks were great, but food took a long time and then was barely warm when it finally came. Not what I would expect for about $30 a plate.

The venue is very nice, clean, inviting, friendly and the staff is very nice and friendly and helpful. The half chicken was smaller than expected, but tasty. We will be back! Thanks!

Hair in food. my shrimp are either overcooked or undercooked. The guacamole they brought out was already starting to turn dark although I will say it’s a taste good the tortilla soup was fine. They put us in a tiny corner. There was barely anyone in the restaurant, the floors were so slippery. I nearly broke my neck and kept pushing us to order or drinks and dessert. I’ve been before and had a good experience I may give them one more shot. I haven’t decided yet.

Great food, great service, could have waited between courses a little longer. Common sense tells you, you can't fit 6 plates on a 4 plate table. Today's prices are getting put of hand

The staff was pleasant and attentive. I paid $10 for chicken tortilla soup that was in a small bowl and was watery. My boyfriend enjoyed the calamari. The chicken nachos were more of a dip with nachos on the side and should be advertised as such. The chicken was a bit salty. We sat outside and enjoyed ourselves, but I wish there were plants or flowers so we weren't so openly abutting the parking lot.

Ridgefield Playhouse ticket holders are to get 10 percent off their bill as stated on the reservation page- this discount was not applied. Risotto was hard as a rock. All meats over salted. Quality is not equal to the prices here. Waiter tried hard though.

Our waiter was great! Very helpful and friendly. We ate Happy Hour food. It was excellent! We will be back! Only complaint was that the organic tequila was $21 a glass (found out afterward) and at that price the glass should be full!
