   I went on a Thursday night, and Teocalli was hopping! The waitress was clearly busy and very efficient with her communication, but we never felt neglected. My friend had the 50/50 enchiladas, which she loved. I tasted both sauces; the suiza was tangy and delicious, and the mole was everything you hope for--deep and rich. I had a couple of tacos, the de birria and avocado tempura. The de birria was a big chunk of tender lean beef--my mouth is watering as I think about it. The avocado taco had a lot of nice textures, but as expected with avocado, it didn't have as much flavor other than the slaw and pico de gallo. We also had cocktails and an appetizer. The carajillo was so good, but I should have saved it for dessert. I ordered a second drink and had what my friend had ordered--the Teocalli paloma. It's a very nice paloma variation with the pear liqueur. And finally, thumbs up on the blistered shishito peppers. There are so many other menu items I want to try. I will definitely go again.

   Taco Tuesday’s is a great value for your money. And the portions sizes are very good. The apps, guacamole and queso, were excellent, but the tacos were meh - too greasy on some, not a lot of flavor on another, and just gross on the third (shrimp). But our biggest issue with this place is the staff - yes, they are very efficient, always help get you what you need or ask for, quick, etc. So it seems good overall BUT we have literally never experienced any friendliness, personality, or even an appearance of wanting to be there? This is our 4th time coming here and this hasn’t changed once, it’s the oddest thing to me. It’s almost as if they are told to be robots lol? Or are so unhappy to be there but I assume making enough money to keep showing up for work? I just don’t get it. Not sure if we’ll keep trying at this point, there’s other joints we can give our money too and just have a better time overall….

   Our server and food were amazing! Server was tentative and nice. The lady at the front of house was a little rude about requesting a booth. Then also took us to our table that was still dirty and had dishes on it. Then made us stand in front of the kitchen while she rushed to wipe it down…

   All delicious and gluten free - such a treat!! The prices are reasonable, the portions good and the service is excellent.

   Went to Teocalli this weekend. Our server Bella was outstanding. She was very accommodating, energetic, and smiling the whole time. She met all of our needs and did not rush us even though it was packed on Saturday. The food was very good as usual, and the menu has lots of options and choices. That is the reason we keep coming back time after time.

   The hostess wasn’t able to locate my reservation until I showed her the text confirmation. To her credit, she did claim responsibility for the miss and eventually found it. The waiter was friendly yet failed to properly time our order — our two appetizers came a minute or two before our tacos when we had requested latency between the courses. Other wait staff was good at water refills and clearing plates. Food was very good so despite the feeling of being rushed, we will visit again (and not order “dinner” until after we’ve had time to enjoy our appetizers).
