Tender Steakhouse - Luxor
Located on the casino level, Tender Steakhouse offers a warm, rich environment with its cherry wood décor and soft intimate lighting.
Excellent meal and service as last time. Great place for a nice meal without all the sports on TVs all over the place.
Our dinner experience was variable. 3 of the 4 dishes were prepared properly. One guest ordered his steak medium rare and it was overcooked. Everything else was great. This was our second visit to your restaurant and will definitely visit again. We will specifically discuss this at future visits.
Thom did a great job. He did offer to replace the steak but we felt that would take too long.
Extremely flavorful and tender filet mignon. Lobster Risotto was delicious. The women at the desk were very helpful and accommodating. The service was very, very good. Great experience and will definitely come back!
Very good restaurant to go to on a date. The staff was friendly and the food selection was outstanding. The steaks were perfect.
The food was outstanding, but it fails in comparison to the service. Alan Schneiderman , our server was outstanding! His attentiveness, menu knowledge and expertise with wine were exceptional. He is a true master in his field. He truly made our Valentine’s Day dinner a night we will never forget. Thank you Alan, and thank you Tender Steakhouse.
Great food. Place looks a little beat up. Priced a little high.
We Loved everything
I had been to Tender 15 years ago, and remembered it as the best steak I’d ever had. It did not disappoint. Next Vegas trip we will certainly go again.
I love tender! I go every time I’m in Vegas!
You can get a high quality steak in Vegas for a reasonable price! I’ve eaten at Gene & Georgetti’s in Chicago and Strip Steak, the Palm, & Keens in NYC. In Vegas, Tender steaks are every bit as flavorful and well prepared. We’re going back!!
My favorite steak place in Vegas. Great chef inspired food. The salted caramel chip ice cream for dessert is a must.
Bison Ribeye is the way to go. The regular ribeye is fatty and chewy. Cheese platter to start is fantastic
Our steaks were cooked perfect. The cheese potato’s were yummy. Also a very nice bread selection.
Came here to have dinner while staying at the Luxor. This wasn't my first choice pick, originally I was going to go to Gordon Ramsey Steak, but the only reservation was 10pm, too late. Tender was open, so I booked here. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, you can't hear the casino inside which is good, but there was a very loud party near where I was sitting which made things a little loud (hence the rating). Food was good, although I would rate Gordon Ramsey Steak or Alexanders (I'm from California) higher. It took a long time for our waiter to finally bring the check, so knocked 2 stars off for that, but overall the restaurant has good food, good vibes, and is a decent price. For 2 people, 2 steaks (Wagyu 8oz and Fillet 8oz), 2 sides each and a glass of the Cab, came out to about 190$...on par with most high end steak restaurants. I would recommend this place.
I don’t usually criticize a restaurant but this restaurant false advertise a bone in ribeye all over the hotel, the Luxor hotel and casino resort Las Vegas that is, I went in for For that reason on my birthday to order the 20 ounce bone in ribeye Steak $65 with the Baked potato $8 lobster bisque $14 tip $15 but the quality is lacking The Thixk Strak that was Advertised was not the same I received The Steak was salty too,the service was lacking the manager never say hi or even check on me once but he kept passing me more than 10 times I am not exaggerating, the Camera Lady was inside to interrupt diners to take photos so they can sell it to you when you’re done eating, just like when you take a cruise so now you know is your choice God bless America
Love this place. We try to go every time we're in Vegas. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. We will definitely be back.
Have dined here many times. Only issue on this night was that I ordered a rare filet and unfortunately it was medium. Tasted more like a roast rather than a good steak. Too late in the evening to send it back and wait for a correct steak. Waiter was great.
Just a solo meal whilst at a trade show. It was ok but nothing special. The by the glass wine list was limited with marginal at best options that one glass cost more than a single bottle I could buy in a store but that’s Vegas. No real green options on the menu. Steak was just ok. Overall I was not impressed but again most restaurants in Vegas are generic despite the hype.
Staff was accommodating to our request to extend our reservation from 8 to 10. Service was really outstanding and food was delicious. This was my second time to Tender - last time was for my birthday which was memorable enough to book this larger dinner with important friends. Everyone left very happy!
Our waiter Robin was outstanding and enjoyed the food. We ate in the bar.
Filet Oscar was excellent. Our waiter John was attentive and we never were out of anything.
Food and service were top notch. Portions were excellent. Terrific steak and crab legs.
Were told no reservations at the time that we wanted. Went on open table and found one for that time. When we came back the hostess asked if I had chosen the later reservation offered and I told her we had a reservation from open table. She was not happy. Food was good and server was nice but, never offer the specials which I basically ordered. Overheard the specials being listed at the table next to us.
Great food. Excellent steak. Would definitely go back.
Service was excellent. Food quality was wonderful. Will definitely be back & will tell others about this great steakhouse!
Steaks were cooked to perfection. The BLT wedge salad was amazing. Highly recommend. We would definitely eat there again.
Did not disappoint. Great job!
Soup and bread was very good. Steak however was very bland and not that flavorful.
This is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. The lobster bisque is the best I have ever had and is what brings me back. I also love the lobster risotto! This time around I had the king crab legs and my husband got the Bison steak. The crab legs were amazing and this is by far the top of my list restaurant for our frequent visits to Vegas. Nice quiet atmosphere and cozy seating, very private when you have a booth.
Steak was fine. Caesar salad was good. First round of bread was stale on edges. Second round was fresh.
I can make a better steak on my backyard grill than the $54.00 New York steak here. My wife’s chicken was very good. Way overpriced especially when they charged us for 2 glasses of water!
This restaurant was better than we expected. The food was delicious and the steak was very tender...just like the name of this restaurant! We started off with the beef carpaccio. It was the best we’ve had though the portion was smaller than we usually get at other restaurants. We then had the caprese salad. The tomatoes were sweet and only lightly dressed and the burrata was soft and creamy. For our main course we had the porterhouse steak, which was seasoned perfectly, and the roasted asparagus. We ended the meal with creme brûlée. This was also well done and not sweet like some other restaurants serve. The portions are good sized and we shared the meal. Plenty of food for two people.
Food and service were fantastic.
We had our Thanksgiving and Birthday dinner here while in Las Vegas and it was great. Food was good and atmosphere was very nice.
3 anniversaries and a birthday
Although food was good, servers seemed rushed and had too many tables. Mine was Dewey and he seemed like he was always on the run and out of breath/worn out. This was at 6:45! The food is brought out by a helper who doesn't have a good grasp of English. Very hard to understand as he talks at 100 mph in an accent you can't understand. The initial greeting at host stand was welcoming and made you look forward to dinner. Kind of disappointing from there. For the prices they are charging, you'd expect more. The overall look and feel of the room's atmosphere is very nice. Now, if they could just focus on the professionalism of the wait staff.
The best surf and turf we have ever had
Food was very expensive . My Bison steak was terrible and with gristle. Very expensive cut and not good at all. My side of baked potato and bacon was not very warm. However, the Chocolate cake was excellent.
Overall it was good. Sadly my first steak was overdone so that was a little disappointing and our server was hard to find
The experience was so bad that I would rather not comment. The one thing I will say is that when your individual meal is $56, the meat should be tender and not full of fat!
