Located on Market Street, in the former historic Harriott Pinckney Home for Sailors, next door to sister location Church and Union Charleston. Tempest features hyper-local, sustainable Coastal Modern-American food, with a seasonal menu curated by Chef Adam Hodgson and Bravo Top Chef Alum Chef Jamie Lynch.

                                                    This restaurant exceeded expectations in every possible way. From the moment we walked in and got our table to even getting the check. The professionalism and the understanding from the staff was impeccable. I have very high standards for any restaurant that has $3 signs or $4 signs on open table, many fail to impress. This restaurant is one I could strongly recommend. Everybody had a different entree and the entrees were excellent, the sides were excellent, the seafood appetizers were large and the presentation was outstanding. $400, tip included with everybody getting drinks as well is a good deal in my opinion. I will gladly give them my business again soon.

                                                    My boyfriend and I went for my birthday and the staff made it the most wonderful experience. Starting when they called to confirm the reservation, they asked if I wanted to change anything and worked with me to find a better time inside that worked. They gave us free champagne when we arrived. Our server was extremely nice. They also provided us with a free birthday dessert. I will be coming back here and couldn’t recommend it more for a special occasion!!

                                                    Would recommend!! The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was also fantastic. Jordanne was our server. She was fun and recommended some great dishes for us. The manager even came by to see if we needed anything else. Would return!
