Located on Market Street, in the former historic Harriott Pinckney Home for Sailors, next door to sister location Church and Union Charleston. Hands down the best meal I've had in a long time. The bolognese is out of this world and our waitress, Naomi, was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend.

We were seated right at our reservation time. Staff was attentive and informative. We will be back! Food was good! 2 Apps, 2 main courses, 1 dessert and 3 alcoholic drinks. Spent about $160 so average dinner cost out in Charleston.

We had 8 of us in our party. All of our food came out together. The service was excellent! The food was delicious. The Ocean bread was out of this world. Definitely recommend. We had the PEI muscles, roasted shrimp cocktail, and calamari, all were very good. Half of us enjoyed the filet, the chicken and the pasta. We all enjoyed our dinner. The servings were all plentiful. I will most certainly be coming back!

Five of us celebrated Easter brunch buffet at the Tempest. The food was delicious, especially for a buffet. From appetizers to dessert, we all enjoyed it. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. The only thing I would change is the music. It was too loud & rock for a nice Easter celebration. We could hardly talk. Not relaxing.

We loved our dinner! We had the rigatoni and the short rib.iMckenna was delightful as our server. Loved the special touches to end our meal also. Very thoughtful . Loved that tradition. We will be back !
