Best food ever, every time. Small portion well priced so that you may attemt to try everything. Everything is amazing. Want/need great vino information, ask for Roman. As always, cant wait till next time.

Special occasion restaurants should be 1) intimate 2) upscale 3) excellent quality in terms of food, service and atmosphere. Temper Grill fits all three requirements.

A great evening of small plate appetizers complimented with a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly, helpful with menu and drink selections and prompt on providing service to our table. I would love to try this again for dinner.

We were pleased when we walked in at the eclectic decor and the over padded cushioned Boths. Reminded us of being in the middle east. The food was awesome. Everything we tried was very tasty. The wine and beer list are very exciting and extensive. We'll be back. Oh... and are server was very friendly and personable.

I really like the Tapas style. That is, separate appetizer-like plates that can be shared. The food was of good quality and taste. However, I did not think it lived up to the hype of a certain local radio station. The food was good but not outstanding IMO. And outstanding is what I was looking/hoping for. I will say that the chocolate truffles were excellent and did live up to the hype.

For my reservation on Open Table I requested a booth explaining that my 2 friends were celebrating birthdays so we had gifts and wanted the comfort and extra space of one of their large booths. They were not busy when we arrived yet we were told we couldn't have a booth, as they "save" them for larger groups (which by the way I have sat with 5 others in a booth and it was very crowded and uncomfortable). Of the 3 booths only 2 were used all evening, so the 3 of us could have been seated in one. This was Disappointment #1. The service was fair. As they had many empty tables all evening, the service should have been better...Disappointment #2. The food took quiet a while to start coming out, which was odd because they weren't that busy. Some of the food we wanted to enjoy together and we mentioned this to our server. Generally the dishes stream in and overlap, but we had 1 dish delivered and then nothing for quite some time, then all of a sudden several were delivered at the same time and finally our last dish came out much later after most everything else was consumed...Disappointment #3. My friends paid with credit cards, and I paid with cash. Imagine my surprise when no money/change was returned. The server kept the $7 change assuming it was the tip from my share...Disappointment #4. And finally the overall experience just isn't what it used to be. The prices have increased, yet the portions are smaller. The time spent there just isn't that special anymore. We have heard more and more unfavorable reviews about Temper Grille and sadly my friends and I have been disappointed the last 2 times we were there. Perhaps the owner/chef needs to review his own restaurant and look around to see all of the new homegrown eateries that are popping up getting attention. We have been fans of TG since it opened, but it needs to step up it's game plan to stay competitive and well-liked. Otherwise people will find new places to spend their valuable time and money.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 for ambiance is because the table we were seated at was directly in front of the door & every time the door opened a very cold draft blew under the table. The food was fabulous as usual & the waitstaff was much improved from the last time we dined here.

We were not immediately greeted although there were not many diners in the restaurant the day before Valentine's Day about 5 pm. We had reservations. The hostess pointed to one of the high top bar tables and we asked for a booth and she said no. I do not care for the high tables because I am short and they are uncomfortable to get in and out of. We had a pretty good and attentive waiter although he was very busy taking care of the bar also, so I always felt rushed when ordering. Our party shared the chopped salad (good), steak bites (good but will go back to the duck bites because we like them better), tried the crab cakes for the first time and they were very good, and ended with the sea bass which was excellent. We were offered dessert but turned it down because only two suggestions were made. I think if Temper had a pastry chef as good as their regular chef, the restaurant could offer some amazing desserts.

Although I do enjoy the food, I never really feel comfortable at Temper...uncomfortable seating (for two) and feel rushed and the employees do not feel happy to see their diners. We've been coming to Temper shortly after they opened and we've always felt that the staff (other than the male waiter we had were not up to the caliber of what the restaurant could be. They are more like staff who would be employed at a bar.

Yes, we will return for the food.

The food was excellent and the service was good except for the fact that the whole experience felt very rushed. Now, I have worked in restaurants and I understand the the desire to get tables turned but this is NOT a big a big dining room and it is quite pricey. People want to savor this type of dining experience...a bit llike an investment. It was particularly puzzling as it was not a special occasion night like Valentine's Day nor was it even a weekend night AND there wasnt anyone waiting for a table. This, sadly, greatly reduced my enjoyment of the experience

Extremely small space and atmosphere was nothing special. We were given THE WORST table in a corner on top of another table even with a reservation on a Wednesday night. Food was good but server forgot one of our tapas and we needed to remind her to bring it out. Better than most but nothing special other than the food quality. Prices were at a level that demands better service and atmosphere.

This is our new special occastion spot. The food is amazing and you won't find another restaurant like this locally!
