This restaurant is permanently closed. Temp Restaurant is a chef-driven, modern American restaurant in downtown Chula Vista. We feature updated versions of classic bistro menu items like Veal Stock French Onion Soup, house-made pasta, and Steak Frites, along with seasonal dishes dictated by our yields at Wild Willow Farms. We have a carefully curated wine list, craft beer, and creative mimosas and sangrias. Think, lemon honey lavender mimosas and peach sparkling sangria.

Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays is playful and approachable featuring fun items like the The Oreo Waffle with charred marshmallow, “Slow Country” with Sous Vide Fried Chicken Biscuits and Gravy, Bottomless Mimosas and much more.

This place was a go to spot for my friend and I.
We loved all the food we ever ordered.
Its in our home town so I loved it even more.
We like to support our Local business.
Sad to say though they are closing there doors on the 27th of June.
Not enough Local support.
They will be missed.

Great brunch, gave it a 3 star overall because our table was not available so we sat in the bar. Food and deinks were great.

Food was pretty good. The bone marrow appetizer was okay. A little over salted. We ordered steak & the burger. Both options were pretty good. The fried rice was delicious! Also enjoyed the brownie dessert. Would reorder rice & brownie. I would like to try other items on the menu so I will return.

We went for brunch on Sunday. I had the Short Rib Benedict. It was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back for dinner.

A perfect spot for Mother's Day, free of the typical hassle of parking, crowds, etc.

The brunch menu offered something for every taste and everyone in our party loved their meals. The quality of the food and service is top notch and we can't wait to go back to sample the regular menu.

We went for brunch right at opening time. The food was excellent. I had the belgian waffle with fruit, my wife had french toast, one son had chicken with biscuit and gravy, and the other son had crab eggs benedict.

I've been here twice. The food and service are excellent. I like that it's a neighborhood gem.
There aren't any other restaurants in Chula Vista that compare.

The service was excellent; however I did not like the fact of feeling being pushed to leave. I did not request the check and another server took it to my table. I thought that was a little bit rude.
I totally understand that it was easter sunday and there were probably more reservations scheduled; but maybe letting us know that the time might be short due to being a busy day instead of just taking the check to us when nobody asked for it.

I got the best Rack of Lamb I have ever tried in a long... very long time... it was made to PEFECTION! Try it the way they say it should be served... Salads are excellent and Foie Gras the best...

The food and service was outstanding at Temp. If you are looking for a special dining experience, you no longer have to travel out of Chula Vista to get it. We will definitely be back.

I took my group of friends who were looking for something new! We all enjoyed the food, sampling four different dishes after starting off wth the muscle and clams and a nice bottle of vino. We sampled two desserts and left this trendy spot with full bellies and smiles on our faces! I take new friends each time I go and everyone enjoys it!

Simple foods with high quality products make for a great dinner. The restaurant was beautiful, simple, quiet, and modern. Staff were attentive, informed, and friendly.

My wife Mercedes and I had a wonderful dinning experience. The General Manager Michelle was our Host and Server and took extremely good care of us. The Crew at Temp made us feel welcomed like part of the family. Mercedes and I truly appreciate that. The food was Awesome!!!

Our Favorite Restaurant in Chula Vista and perhaps the best Fine Dinning experience in the South Bay.

Our new go to spot.

The menu had changed from my first visit here 6 weeks ago so I was a little disappointed that the menu option I had been looking forward to was no longer available. However there are many nice options for this trendy new restaurant in downtown CV. Be sure to make reservations! Cant wait to try it for brunch!

We had brunch and It was great to finally try the food at Temp! Brunch was great, with only a couple of suggestions...
Biscuits and gravy needed a more gravy and the chilaquiles were a bit too crispy, but overall our food was delicious, and we will have to go back.

6 friends went to Temp for a weekend dinner get-together and it is rare for us to say" I'll come here again!" We are fussy eaters who don't want to bother going out if the food isn't any better than we could do on our own. We have some excellent cooks! Our only comments might be more of the yummy bread just set on the table and more broth in the bouillabaisse. It's too good to not have it with every spoonful. Also, the serving dishes didn't match the all of the fare. I had the duck and would have preferred a plate to a bowl. But we'll be back. The Southbay deserves to have more unique and fine dining experiences! There are plenty of people with plenty of money. Most of it spent and sub-par, ordinary restaurants. More please!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the service was outstanding. All the employees we encountered were really nice and went way out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The food portions were smallish, the food tasted great, but it’s a tad expensive, but we were there for a special occasion, so I didn’t worry so much about the cost. I feel like that’s what this place is built for, special occasion celebrations. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend and look forward to going back.

As a long-time resident of the South Bay, I am happy to see that we are finally getting some good restaurants "South of 8." We decided to try Temp as we live 15 minutes away and have heard about the new "Old downtown Chula Vista" bar/dining scene from my older son. It was Valentine's Day, so the menu was limited. Food and service were good, the place is smallish, but nicely decorated. I thought it was overpriced ($175 for 2) for the quality, though. It may have been the Valentine's Day thing, but honestly we could have had a great meal at Ruth's Chris and spent the same.

We went there for Valentine's dinner. Staff was very nice and friendly especially to our 1 year old, however we waited more than 45 minutes for the first appetizer to come out - and it was a salad. They are OK with small children, which is a plus, but the food service was just too slow.

The eggs were pretty raw on the short rib benedict (understanding the poached aspect). The strawberry mimosa was good. When I asked for the Oreo waffle I was told they were out of the mix, but also didn’t have the waffle iron?
