Tellers is not just a Chophouse, it’s an institution. Born in 1999 out of an old bank, Tellers’ 25-foot-high ceilings and windows visually delight guests from the moment they enter our Main Dining Room, with the original Mosler Vault serving at the heart of our restaurant.

Our exceptional culinary team constructs progressive takes on the classics, while allowing the traditional Chophouse fare to take center stage, with USDA PRIME, 35-day dry-aged beef as our cornerstone. The Gold Bar pays homage to the unforgettable bars of years past, offering a world class beverage program.

    Ladies night out. As usually attentive and outstanding service. We have come to expect amazing meals and are never disappointed. You never feel rushed but are checked on frequently. Teller's is a jewel for Islip.

    A milestone celebration and we chose Tellers (again). Excellent appetizers of bacon and crab cake, then Delmonico steaks . Mushrooms were a bit hit. Nice touch with a gift card presented at the end of the meal. And yes, we love the background music!!

    Filet mignon was over cooked. They took back brought me another one, 20 minutes later and it was raw! Wasn’t even hungry at that point

    This is the first time that I have been at Tellers for “Restaurant Week”. The quality of the food far surpassed what I previously experienced with other restaurants on Long Island. The wine pairing was also an unexpected surprise. This was a wonderful dining experience for my family as we celebrated 2 milestone birthdays.

    Quality of the food has really decreased; 3 years ago we randomly came ot Teller's while out of town and loved it, every year we have came back when we are in town for soccer. Last year the service was HORRIBLE. This year the service was good (we did come at 4 though). This time the quality of food did not come close to price. Any sort of 4 or 6 oz filet is off the menu, makes absolute NO sense for a "chophouse." Although the 12 oz was entirely too big I ordered it medium-well it was absolutely not 12 oz 6 or 8 at bext and have NO pinlk, ends were charred. Salads, sides & desserts were OK, best mocktail by daughter ever had bit having been to many high end restaurants the cost and quality of food not even close to wwhat they should be. Not sure if we will waste our time or money next year for a steak worse than Texas Roadhouse at a price greater than Shula's...so dissappointing!
