    The rating should be 3 1/2, First the dining area tables are close and it can be noisy. OpenTable mentioned there was a dress code, but it didn't seem to apply for a 1/3 of the diners, For the $$$$ we paid I would have expected greater attention. They charge a flat 20% service fee plus optional tipping. The tapas were very stylized and we enjoyed the pulpo and crab croquette. The socarrat on the paella was pretty good, but seemed as if the whole dish was baked. The shrimp was not deveined and mushy. One reason not to get fish on Sunday (not fresh). The churros were premade and heated over. A bit to chewy.

    First time and we had such a good experience. Our waitress was the best. So attentive and helpful great personality. We explored with the food and we loved everything we had: 3 tapas and 1 paella I’ll go back!

    Good overall. We ordered about 10 tapas and 1 main to share between 6. Some had eaten before dinner but I would say it wasn’t enough. We also ordered 2 desserts to share. We only received 1 dessert and didn’t get 1 entree that we ordered but weren’t charged for them. Seemed like there were some communication errors. I found it strange though as the waiter was the one who said 1 dessert wouldn’t be enough and we should do 2, but then he only put in one. Our icecream melted on the table as we waited for the second until we decided to just forget it and eat. Many of the tapas options were very heavy and greasy. We tried to balance it out with Brussels sprouts, but those were the other item that didn’t get delivered. Overall it was good, but I would probably come back just for a tapas or two and a drink before a full meal elsewhere.

    A member of our party has food allergies. The wait staff was extremely helpful in assisting us with our allergy concerns - checking with the kitchen staff on specific items that were safe to order and a few that could be modified safely. Food and drinks were delicious; maybe a touch pricey -- but that's not a unique issue to this establishment (costs are up everywhere). Overall - a wonderful experience.

    Service was good. Our waiter was attentive. Overall the food combinations didn’t make sense. Everything needed salt, and generally we aren’t heavy salt folks. We had tomato carpaccio with tuna, very little tuna and needed salt. We had a chicken parmigiana type dish, that had this truffle like cream cheese with a poured gravy on top, the flavors didn’t work together and needed salt. I’d just say, less show and more attention to food would go far in this nice space.
