At Ted's Cafe Escondido, we prepare fresh Mexican food from scratch daily.

We don't charge you for the extra's like others do. Our fresh homemade flour tortilla's, salsa, spicier atomic salsa, even spicier habanero salsa. cheese sauce, and chips are free with each entree selection. How about dessert? That is also free with every entree, a fresh hot sopapilla served with honey.

At Ted's, we are proud and committed to service. We began in a renovated house off the beaten path in Oklahoma City over 25 years ago, and still serve the exact same recipe's, with a few additions as well, that we started with. You are not a customer at Ted's, you are our guest, and our service reflects that.

We are committed to consistently providing the greatest tasting food, made from the freshest quality ingredients, served by the best trained, most knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff.

We Love Ted's in Lee's Summit MO!! We go as often as we can. It is one of our favorite places to take friends who have never been there!! The service for large tables is excellent and very friendly! Nobody has to ask for more cheese dip or drinks or chips....the servers are on top of it. The food is wonderful! I don't know if it is "authentic" or not....I just know it is really good!!

Enjoyed our food and the service. As usual the service and the food was outstanding. We cannot wait to return. Ted's is worth the drive. Highly recommend eating at Ted's in Lee's Summit.

Overall the experience was ok. We had a great waiter! Experience kicked off upon arrival, the smell within the restaurant was unpleasant. The carpet may need refreshing as there was a bad odor at front entrance and at our table. The food could use more seasoning, however the portions were good. The price comparable to other restaurants was on the high end.

First time there. Went to celebrate a family birthday and engagement. Food was good and staff was excellent. Our server Mike was as good as it gets. Look forward to going back again and will ask for Mike when we do. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The food was excellent (and who doesn’t love free chips and dip and quaso and warm tortillas and sopapillas)! We all had margaritas which were delicious as well! Fantastic experience and we hope to eat there again soon.
