7 pieces of assorted sushi (chef's choice) and 1 roll
Two paper thin rolls filled with fresh vegetables and then fried. Served with sweet and sour, sriracha, and mustard sauces
We were seated promptly but by the door. It’s s small space and cramped and can get cold when the the door is open. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. The crispy duck was especially good. Restaurant was loud, but it’s a Friday night. Overall very good, but not quite 5 stars. We’ll definitely be returning.
First time here. Great food. Everything tasted very fresh. Sushi was the best we’ve had. Definitely will be going back!
Excellent choices for GF Celiac diner. I had the Mango Tango Tilapia and it was superb! Of course non GF's have even more great choices. I used to dine at this restaurant when it was in Mt. Adams. The new location downtown is so centrally located and the views of the street are charming.... overlooking Washington Park.
Really delicious food and atmosphere right in the heart of OTR. We had excellent soup, sushi, and Pad Thai. We will definitely be back!
Food was bland, ordered 7 out of 10 and there was no spice at all. Too many large cut veggies for a noodle dish. There were fewer noodles than veggies and the chicken was way too dry. Better places in Cincinnati to get Thai.
Very lively atmosphere, great service, and very large portions, all at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Everything was delicious! I ordered ginger stir fry and my friend got fried rice. We ordered a ton of appetizers too - all delicious and authentic.
Went with a group of 5 and ordered several apps and entrees to share. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the duck and pineapple rice. Food came out a little too fast. We were still eating apps when the entrees came out. We asked them to hold entrees but they didn’t give us much time. And then we sat for quite awhile waiting for our check. Weird timing. But worth it.
Went after an FCC game. Had reservations. Got seated quickly. Apps came out quickly. Meals were a little slower. Dish stations were in the open and used loudly. That was our only complaint. Cost was in line with quality. Spent $100 to feed 5 without drinks.
I've missed Teak – so glad it reopened in OTR! The food is delicious and the service is friendly.
We went through a big ordeal about spiciness on our dinners which ordered #5 for my Pad Thai chicken and it came out with zero spice. Only one of the four meals had any spiciness to it. We had to ask them to bring something out for us to put on our dinners. My Pad Thai Chicken was not what I got when you were in Mt Adams. I barely ate any of it. Plus it was barely warm.at My wife’s dinner was good and she enjoyed it. Not sure if I will come back any time real soon.
My friend had sushi and that was good. The red curry chicken was bland; spicy but unflavorful and runny; needed to be cooked longer to absorb the flavors or maybe some ingredients were missing from it. However, the coconut soup was good.
Wonderful service and amazing food! Everything we ordered was delicious but the chicken satay starter and the spicy fried noodles were my favorite. We’ll definitely be back!
Good food and good service. Great location if you are going to an event at Music Hall.
This is a great place to eat and visit. So glad Teak made it through and stayed open.
Our table was horrible and one person from our party had to sit in a plant (literally). There was dirt and scuffs on the wall we kept getting bumped into by staff with no apologies. We were dressed very nice for the ballet and had to sit in the less nice side of the restaurant. There were tons of tables open. A party of 3 was sat after us and got placed at a 6 top. It took over 20 minutes to be spoken to. Horrible experience. The food was mainly good, the sushi was disappointing.
Excellent food and service. Loved the Ginger salad abd Pad Thai. Had a great server.
Good was amazing, but they WAY overbooked their reservations. If i make a reservation for a Saturday night, I expect to get sat around that time. We waited 35 minutes after our reservation time to get sat. And that was true of pretty much everyone else waiting. Apparently reservations don’t matter much there which makes me think twice about going back on a weekend night
The Thai food is the best in the city. Given that the restaurant is so close to Music Hall it was very crowded and extremely loud before a concert.
Our server worked hard and was very good despite the crowded conditions
Way too crowded….could barely get to the table by squeezing past other diners. And too noisy to be heard. Great food though.
Even though we had a reservation, there wasn't a table ready and we were told to wait 15 to 20 minutes. When a table became available, they said it was ours, but it took awhile for someone to clean it. I understand that there is a staffing shortage, but the host was standing there, and he could have cleaned the table. Three out of four dinners were very good, but the Pad Thai was flavorless. I am wondering if someone forgot to put something in it, because online reviews have been good. I didn't say anything there, because we needed to get to a show. No one at the table like the Pad Thai, even though it is a favorite of ours. Sushi was great, Yellow Chicken Curry was very good and chicken cashew stir fry was very good. It is a small space, so tables are crammed together. The server we had was excellent.
Enjoyed everything. Katie was terrific
First time in the new OTR location. Wonderful Thai food, best in the city.
Everything was awesome. Ran out of space to eat more food
Was seated quickly with a reservation. Server was very attentive. Extensive menu. My food was mixed. An appetizer of Dim Sum steamed shrimp dumplings was six very small chewy overcooked items not really a Dim Sum steamed bun. My Thai stir fried vegetables was perfect. Fresh vegetables in a brown sauce not over cooked. I will eat there again and explore other food items.
Great food and good service. Like everywhere, they're stressed for staff, but even tho it can be spotty at times they're super nice, and the amazing diversity of options makes everything ok. Can't go wrong.
Excellent food & service was fast! We had a great time!
I had high hopes (used to go to their former location in Mt Adams), but this was just average. Food was very good. Atmosphere was not good. Table was far too small for two people to have a meal. I would suggest getting their food as takeout.
The food was delicious and plentiful. They are short-handed (isn't every restaurant), but the servers worked hard to provide the best service possible. We had spring rolls (perfect), steamed pork dumplings and coconut shrimp to begin. All fantastic. Main courses included Siam chicken, crispy pork belly and a couple of noodle dishes. The heat selected was perfect - we chose between 4 and 6. You can go as high as 10. We will definitely go back. The menu has some wonderful selections; too many for one night. Be aware that it is very noisy.
Food was delicious, service was kind and efficient, 10/10 would recommend.
Fast service and amazing food!
I love every visit to Teak as the food and drinks are excellent. Service can be a little on the slow side, though not terrible. Seems they could use an extra set of hands in a few places. Also, the noise level on a busy Saturday night is a bit high in certain seating spots. The space could stand a few sound dampening measures put in place. All in all, I highly recommend Teak as a great place.
Not the same as the old Teak in Mt. Adams but still was good.
my boyfriend and i come here all the time and it’s nothing but amazing every time. our server today was above and beyond today to where i asked for the manager to ensure she was recognized for her kindness and service, food, it’s all 10/10 highly recommend!
Our waitress was not very good. She did not come to check on us very often. Our waters sat empty for quite some time. I couldn’t order another drink because she did not come back. She did not deliver our food nor check on us after the food was delivered. She had a difficult time understanding English.
Huge menu. I think they offer more than they can deliver. We ordered the Popcorn Chicken, Spicy Tuna Roll, Hot and Sour Soup, and Yellow Curry w/ shrimp.
The popcorn chicken is listed as a child’s portion. Must be a pretty big kid, portion was large. Sushi was below standard, I’m not sure sushi is a Thai dish. Hot and Sour soup with shrimp was very good, quite a lot of shrimp. Yellow curry was excellent. I got the level six hotness. Good choice, that probably was my limit. Might go down to five next time.
Their version of a Sidecar cocktail was very good, very orangey. Hot sake was excellent.
Service was really good and they were packed by the time we left.
Prices were very reasonable. Ton of food plus drinks for $66, before tax and tip.
Excellent location by Washington Park.
Teak was hopping before the FCC match. The servers were quick and friendly but the kitchen got a little behind. Not surprising given the crowd. However if you’re looking for a quiet night, this is not your place on match night. Go FCC!
Food and service was great. Olivia was our server and was very friendly and personable. We came in for an early birthday dinner for my husband with our kids. We will be back as it is my husband's favorite place!
Amazing options and great service! Good for vegans.
