My Sister and I were on a sister trip together I n Las Vegas. Sister time is very precious and what better treat than high tea in the Tea Lounge at the hotel Walrdorf Astoria. The ambiance was perfect. Our food server was very nice and showed real care and concern for us. The food and our tea choices were fabulous. We thought the scones were particularly extra delicious; perfectly baked with just the right accompaniments. Our view of the city and beyond was so beautiful. We will definitely be back again and will be sure to tell our friends what a lovely experience we had at the Waldorf Astoria.
High tea was perfect with impeccable service and delicious treats.
We had a very memorable afternoon. The service was outstanding. The view of Vegas through the floor to ceiling windows was spectacular. We were thrilled! I took my daughter to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
For roughly around $60 USD, the Afternoon tea at the Waldorf Astoria on the Strip is a wonderful afternoon mini getaway from the hustle and bustle of the strip.
Gorgeous views and yummy food. Pace yourself and try to wind down with a freshly brewed pot of tea (I got the ginger yuzu!).
This is my second visit to Tea Lounge in 30 days and this visit was much better than the first. I made reservations well in advance and scored one of the small tables by the window. It was more crowded this time than last time but -- thankfully! - there was much less picture-taking by the window by tourists. Despite the crowd the noise level was much better this time -- a bit more hushed -- and the fact that the music at Sky Bar next door was muted was a very welcome change. My server - Betsy - was amazing and I wanted for nothing, including time alone when needed. (I love how she very discreetly brought a fresh pot of hot tea all the while leaving me alone with my thoughts.) Food was delightful; I took all the desserts home with me as the scones and sandwiches -- and tea! -- were quite enough. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you, Betsy. Thank you, Tea Lounge.
This is our second time going to this high tea place. Food and service were excellent.
Between the view, and the service the Tea Lounge was divine. The food, sweets, and tea were also fantastic. I would recommend this to fellow friends, and family!
A fun, quiet afternoon! The sandwiches were delicious!
Not a quality afternoon tea, sadly. Tea selections adequate; tea sandwiches very sub par honestly; scones dryish and mediocre; desserts only 1 of 4 interesting and the rest not well suited to a tea service (I.e a flavored marshmallow, or peanut butter flavored item, weird). $51 per person but a tea service without any true appreciation of appropriate or enticing flavor combinations in this usually pleasing dining experience. (One of the tea sandwiches had truffle in the cream cheese... overpowering for afternoon tea...trying to be inventive? But not knowing how to bring about a truly enjoyable selection of complimentary flavors). Even the Devonshire cream didn’t seem genuine and it was flavorless. Usually it’s always lovely with a fresh scone. Not here. We’ve had many teas over the years. Some small and quaint but lovely culinary choices; some grand and exquisite.,..but this was not even in the ballpark. Would choose some other tea experience next time. Advice: skip the W A afternoon tea unless you’re brand new to afternoon tea experience and have nothing to compare it to. If this is you, you can only enjoy future teas much more. Service adequate, but with a bit of hurried unrefinement. Btw, the W A feels fairly cold and antiseptic for a hotel here. It’s odd, especially when surrounded by so many hotel/resort options. Maybe that’s what their clientele comes to expect, but this is the last place we’d pick in the area. However, great view of Las Vegas hotels, and close up to Chili’s and Buffalo Wild Wings from the 23rd floor....if that’s what you’re looking for. Sorry for the bad review, but this needs improvement in a big way before it’s worth the detour.
Our server Stephanie was delightful. Nice place to celebrate my sisters birthday.
Great views, good food, good customer service, elegant setting. Teas were tasty, food was a little dry or needed a little more filling for some of the sandwiches. Wish we could have chosen different types of food though. The preset menu was okay.
Incredible afternoon, had a great Birthday Celebration
Wonderful time, delicious treats and sandwiches, and a great view!
We had the most amazing time at the Tea Lounge! ☕️💖✨ We had a special occasion we call Princess Day for my little niece (7yrs). She loved the kids’ selection for tea. The grownups had bellinis with tea 🥂✨ Will definitely be coming back next year for this tradition! Loved our servers as well - they made us feel like royalty!
The tea lounge is a great place to relax and get away from the 'normal' Las Vegas goings on. I've been here many times and it is consistently good. They nicely accommodate gluten free guests with their own stack of deliciousness that is mom approved. The scones and cute desserts are great and so is the lemon curd, clotted cream and the jam. The tea selections are wonderful and if you only do coffee--then get a pot of coffee--they service is friendly not stiff. If you want to splurge with unlimited mimosas or glasses of champaign, hey I won't tell you not to. People come dressed all kinds of ways...from full on dresses with hats (eye-roll, sigh) to jeans, t-shirts and gym shoes. Who says you have dress up after all it's only tea. There are lots of fun options for little kids too as they can actually do tea--not just play. Finally for those of you who cannot walk long distances, the lounge is conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel and is just off of the elevator. There also very nice bathroom accommodations adjacent to the tea lounge so again you don't have to walk forever to find a bathroom. Bathrooms are dark but clean and the hand towels are wonderful. Valet parking is free with validation. So go on..get ya some tea.
I actually like the food better than when it was Mandarin. The service is still top-notch. Is a family tradition and we have gone for a number of years and will return.
A new tradition on Christmas , this is my second Winter Holiday High Tea service at Waldorf and the experience is always delightful with a stunning view of the Las Vegas strip and delicious selections from the holiday menu. Celebrated Christmas and my newly engaged cousin’s birthday, along with our niece-her first Christmas as a resident. The surprise birthday treat was an outstanding gesture. Had a splendid time. The holiday tea selections are always the highlights along with delicious pairings of scones, savory sandwiches and dessert courses. Very filling. We always manage to take away what we don’t finish. To top it off, we take home bags of our tea selections. Highly recommended.
We had a window table which gave us a great view of the strip. The seating arrangement is a bit awkward but not too uncomfortable. Service was great and we were happily delighted with the majority of the food offerings. The seasonal holiday teas had great flavor and we were provided with sachets of samples to go. Overall a lovely experience.
Stephanie was awesome! This was probably the best thing we've done all year. I cannot suggest it enough. THANK YOU!!!!
ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED...food wasn’t fresh and our server was inattentive!!! Perhaps our expectation was what we had experienced with Mandarian Oriental.
What a lovely way to spend the afternoon at high tea on Christmas Eve. We loved the ambiance, the food and the service. My 91 year old mom cannot have dairy so the provided her with a scrumptious Vegan set. The tea assortment was expansive but three of us picked the nutcracker tea and it was delish. It is an expensive outing but worth every penny.
This was my second time coming here for afternoon tea. My first time was when this was still The Oriental Hotel. I'm not sure if is the change is hotel management, etc but the quality definitely took a step down. Sandwiches were dry and overall, everything was just not as delicious and tasty as my first experience. Service was also not what it was before. Perhaps they were understaffed but our waitress barely came by our table to ask if were were doing okay. In fact, when we needed something we basically had to flag her down. It seemed she was very attentive to each table she was waiting on except for ours. My tea was also not as hot as I would have liked and seems like it got cold very quickly. Overall not the worst experience but definitely could have been better. Based on this latest experience I would not recommend this to a friend.
When you arrive at the 23rd floor, they do not have a sign telling you where the tea lounge is, it's just you wandering around trying to find the tea lounge. The view was nice, but the sweets in the Holiday High Tea set were a little too sweet. The men's room on the same floor had a nice view too at the sink.
We find it too expensive for a Tea and dessert. So I think we are paying for the ambiance but it was an experienced.
This was the only legitimate afternoon tea service in Las Vegas. It was such an amazing experience. The view from the Waldorf directly overlooking the strip was great. The tea lounge was small, quiet and such a great escape from the craziness that is Las Vegas. Food and tea was remarkable along with the staff. I highly recommend!
This was an outstanding dining experience. Would highly recommend!!
The Tea Lounge, like everything in Walforf Astoria LV, was a memorable experience. The wait staff was amazing and attentive. The food will be something I'll be dreaming of until I can visit next, especially since this was not their usual menu (it was the holiday menu). The tea selection was great. I also left with a goody bag that I wasn't expecting. Definitely would recommend and come back!
Perfect! Fun afternoon enjoyed with my girls.
The Tea Lounge at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas was not as elegant and refined an experience as I was anticipating (and wanted) but it was still a great deal of fun and I would do it again. The service was lovely, the tea was hot, the food was delicious and everything was beautifully presented. We chose the 3rd seating (3:45 pm) on a Monday afternoon in December and we were invited to sit back and relax, which we did. The view was amazing as the sun set and the lights of The Strip came alive. We sipped tea, nibbled sandwiches, scones and desserts, enjoyed the view and simply relaxed in the (somewhat) hushed environment. Christmas music played softly in the background, but that was often interrupted by the deep bass beats of the music emanating from the adjacent Sky Bar - that created a somewhat discordant atmosphere. Also, there was a large, loud group of tourists at the next table who continually disturbed the folks seated by the window with their picture-taking. (We were seated in the back of the lounge -- but the view is amazing from anywhere you sit.) To be fair my companion and I were taking pictures, too, but we waited until people had left before taking pictures of the view by the window. So, the music from next door and the loud tourists kind of killed the vibe but I would do it again.
Wonderful time! Server was very attentive but did not hover, and everything I sampled was delicious! The holiday tea time was great value it came with so much stuff. Highly satisfied and will be back soon 💕
The staff was absolutely amazing and the view was well worth it. I felt so relaxed and at piece. I would definitely go again.
My husband & I celebrated my birthday with Afternoon Tea @ the Lounge - Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas. This place is top notch in service and they made it feel so special. The view was amazing and the gift satchel with take home tea was a unexpected treat. Tea Lounge - Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas is highly recommended but pricey $$$. Pepper the Humanoid (Customer Service Bot) was hilarious with limited dance moves... Thank you Pepper and @WaldorfAstoriaLV!! #ArmyWife
The tea and scones were fantastic and the service was great. We didn’t love the sandwiches though and the deserts were very good but
Top notch experience. Great view. Amazing service. We had Stephanie as our server. I am recommending this to all of my friends, and even those who aren't. ;) We look forward to a return visit.
I was looking for something to do with my daughter (who was visiting from out of town) for a couple of hours whilst the guys went to the hockey game. This was perfect for us; we had the best time and everything was exactly as represented. The superior service started with the hostess and getting us seated by the window, affording us with a beautiful view to enjoy -- so relaxing and always something to see. Our hostess was very attentive and knowledgeable, explaining the process in depth, checking back with us often to check to see if we required anything or had any questions. The range of teas were amazing, the food was delicious, plentiful and ample -- a box is available to take the treats home that you could not eat.
We were never rushed nor pressured to leave, we truly relaxed and enjoyed the experience. I recommend making reservations. We will return.
Only a single word is needed to describe the tea room at the Waldorf Astoria; impeccable. The tea, the food, the service, the ambiance, and the view from the 23rd floor was fantastic. Everything was holiday themed and beautifully presented. It was my companion’s birthday, and he received a special treat. Our server was very kind and efficient. When my companion did not care to try a particular finger sandwich, our server graciously provided additional ones he did like at no additional charge. I will definitely return.
Unfortunately for what I hoped would be a special treat for a special occasion really was not. I can not majorly fault the service delivered from the staff. The location was prime with good Las Vegas Strip views. The location itself was good and the setting positive. However the actual afternoon tea service was not. The selection of tea was fine and that cannot really be made incorrectly. The food however was not good. I can only presume everything is bought opposed to being freshly made and is simply plated. The sandwiches were almost stale tasting and were freezing cold. The cakes and pastries really did not pack the punch I was hoping for. The experience was a thanksgiving menu and with that came a heightened cost which was not advertised on the website prior to attending. (The menu was not updated online prior to attending). For $61 pp plus tax and tip, this really wasn’t worth it which saddens me.
All the staff was very courteous and professional, Jingle made the experience exceptional! She was so attentive and great customer service. Would definitely come back!
Great time, beautiful ambiance, friendly service.
Could use more vegan options!
