   I’m a regular at Tayybeh but today was my first time trying the weekend brunch menu and it was just outstanding. Each dish was so yummy and prepared with so much care and very authentic ! Perfect family brunch and the bonus the kids couldn’t stop eating either.

   Go for brunch. It’s awesome. The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful.

   The food was okay, not up to the par as per the reviews. I felt flavour in the food were missing, it was very raw and tasted meaty. Very less salt or pepper even. Humus wasn't good- it tasted like raw chickpeas just blended into a paste. The mandi with chicken shawarma had a lot of oil in the bottom. The garlic sauce was good, the only thing that helped us finish our food. I am huge fan of Mediterranean cuisine. But this was too bland. Don't know if it is Syrian food or just their recipes.

   Excellent wraps, especially the roasted cauliflower. Great lunch venue.

   The food was delicious, and compatible with our table of mixed omnivore and veggie friends. We had an incredible meal and a wonderful time! This is the kind of business worth supporting!

   We came for the slow cooked lamb, but were told it would take an hour. So we had to choose other items, because we couldn’t wait an hour, we were so hungry. The appie we got was pretty good. It was eggplant dip. The chicken fatteh my husband got was not bad. My beet salad had the beets and parsley but I didn’t see any onions or wheat bulgar as it said it would have in the menu. The dessert we got was supposed to be served hot but was cold. The waiter forgot for&s for dessert and had t9 be flagged down and never came back to refill water as we had asked. Everything about this evening was average. There were lots of kids this night so restaurant was a little noisy, it is very pink and brightly lit. I may give restaurant another try just to see why it has such a high railing but for our experience, just average.

    We received a welcoming and warm reception. Our food constraints were considered and led to good advice on which dishes would be most appropriate, a delicious meal of slow-cooked lamb and marinated chicken skewers. There are many other middle eastern restaurants in Vancouver, but none where food tastes this authentic.
