Taxman Bargersville is a gastronomic destination and tap room that shares a building with the award
winning Taxman Brewing Co. Our culinary team is committed to artfully pairing the highest quality local
ingredients with house-made craft beers and wine. Our seasonally evolving menu features fresh
interpretations on familiar favorites, local grass-fed beef burgers and Belgian inspired double fried fries
(“frites” as they say in Belgium).

The restaurant features a full bar with craft beer, global wine selection and cocktails. The expansive outdoor patio is dog friendly and includes a fire pit. The upstairs loft area is available for private events and features a private bar and seating for up to 90 guests.

We had a visitor from Germany and enjoyed a nice dinner and a few good beers during his visit. Thank you Taxman.

We had 7 adults and 2 kids it was a very nice evening celebrating a birthday and Father’s Day. Want to thank the staff for a wonderful dinner and experience it was our first but not our last.

There were four of us celebrating a birthday. Our son said the pork chop was the best he had eaten any place locally. The beer cheese and pretzel was our starter, always a favorite. The rest of us ate salmon in salads. Everything was delicious and our server Izzy took good care of us.

We were greeted by Sierra. Ordered drinks and food. Our appetizer plates sat there even though she walked by several times. Someone else picked them up. Two of our dinners came and one was wrong. She left the wrong plate on the table. Never came back to see if we were needing another beverage. Our third person received his food 30 minutes later. The two others were completely finished. I think she may have apologized once. Asked twice if we wanted the wrong dish and we had already said no. Our bill came and I asked if we had to pay for the 3rd parties plate . She walked to to the register and took off the charge. It would have been wonderful if we had felt she was sincere while taking care of us. And we would have had a couple of drinks had she cared to ask. The food was terrific but the way we were treated was very poor and we could absolutely tell she didn't care.

I am happy you enjoyed the food and beer, but we did fall short on the service aspect this evening. The food was excellent! Our Server however was more concerned with socializing with the bartender than providing any type of service to her customers. She did not listen to our orders therefore they weren’t right, other staff delivered our meal after wee requested someone else to check on it, we had to request our bill three times. This was without a doubt a very poor reflection on our experience there.

We waited an extended time to be greeted by our server and didn’t get our appetizer and the server didn’t notice even though it had been about a half an hour. They reason given was a technology problem with a ticket not being printed in the kitchen even though our food and everything around us went through. We went almost and hour from being seated with no food despite normal level of busyness and open tables. Also out of my preferred first dish, a featured menu item. Food and drinks were excellent but service was not at level expected for price or experience

The food and service were very good. It seemed to take too long to get the food after ordering but all food is prepared to order, nothing is prepared ahead of time sitting on a steam table for a long time. So place your order and enjoy the beer and conversation until your gourmet meal arrives. No one in my party of six complained about the wait and there were only good remarks about the food. I found the music a little too loud for me but that’s not unusual for someone my age. The time of day could have also been a factor in the noise level, we went during a time when many young people were at the end of their work day. Taxman is a great place for them to stop by and unwind after a day of work. Bottom line I will go back sometime for a good meal and try a new beer. I would also recommend it for a good gourmet meal at a reasonable price.
