Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille specializes in authentic and innovative Italian cuisine along with grilled steaks, seafood and hand crafted desserts. With an amazing team of Chefs and energetic onsite owners, Tavolo is well known for the quality of its classic Italian dishes as well as creative and exciting specials. All of our food is made from scratch using on the freshest ingredients. Local seafood is one of our specialties with fresh Swordfish, Halibut, Salmon, Scallops are just some of the highlights. We have an experienced in house butcher serving up bone in ribeye, veal chops, tomahawk cuts and much more.
Tavolo has received a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019. Our extensive wine and craft beer list offers an unprecedented line up of craft beers and fine wines catering to all customers. The atmosphere is stylish yet casual and of course family friendly. We offer an array of room setups and accommodations and menus that can be customized to your specific event and tastes. We have enclosed private rooms that can seat from 10 - 100 guests. All rooms have AV equipment access and availability. There are never any room charge rental fees at Tavolo and never a minimum spend. No hassles no complications!

Service was good Place looked clean Food NOT good I ordered chicken parm.....tried to cut it ....Not good...tried the other side ...better... (normally I would have complained but I didn't want to ruin everyone's time. ) The chicken was like rubber!!! I ate some of the pasta and brought the rest home to throw away. Before I had a chance to throw it out ..My husband came home and was hungry and heated it up LOL he started to eat it and found a 2 inch piece of black plastic in it!!!! I won't be going back to Tavolo Wine bar and grill in Smithfield!!!

We love going to this place after work. The food is good, the drinks are great, and Jess behind the bar is Amazing! She’s always ready with our drinks and creates such a friendly environment that you feel like you’re home!

Food was good. Nothing lifechanging. Filet was cooked as ordered but had no salt or pepper. Needed some flavoring. Waitstaff was abrupt to my son. Walked off a lot.always seemed like in a rush. It was Easter. Would have been nice to be kind to the kids. Won’t be back anytime soon mostly due to the poor service.

We had a wonderful, attentive server and the hostess was a walking comedy show. Not at all intrusive but kept us laughing with every interaction! The two of them made our night out with friends extra-special!!

I have been here twice and each time the food has been impeccable. The service is fast. The atmosphere is gorgeous. I can’t say enough about this restaurant.

We had a wonderful wedge salad but the advertised special, fish and chips was not good Arguably the one of the worst we have ever had. Very disappointing and not cheap.

The food was delicious, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. We did sit next to the bar and that made the noise level a bit high.
