Excellent experience overall! They made a birthday dinner very special. Thank you Rose for your kind service.
Our first time to Tavola exceeded expectations. We were impressed with quality of service and food given they were seriously short-staffed. Well done. We'll be back.
Great quiet spot for dinner or a glass of wine. Food was fair
It was a very comfortable restaurant our waiter and I’m sorry I can’t remember his name, was amazing he tried to get the cook to make me some puttanesca but that was impossible and I understood. I ordered the lamb tartare, delicious. I also ordered the mussels and they were equally as delicious. The food did take a little longer than I thought it should’ve but all in all it didn’t bother me because I was with someone that I enjoyed talking to. I would definitely go back and take people there that wanted a nice dining experience.
go to this restaurant!!!! it is in a lovely hotel. the food was fantastic. our servers name was Philip and he was tremendous. he was not pushy, but he knew everything about the menu. he wasn't up in our business, but was available when we needed something. the restaurant itself was modern with a great cocktail menu, and the menu itself had the perfect amount of options. 15/10 would say go to Tavola!!!!!
We got mostly pasta and they were tasty and well portioned. Would recommended!
All four of us enjoyed our meals, from the chicken to pasta choices. Not a lot of choices, but what we had was portioned well and tasty. The sauce with my ravioli was thin, otherwise flavorful. Cocktails quite good, service excellent. Covid safe .Would return.
Had breakfast the next day, as we stayed at the attached hotel. My spouse's avocado toast with shrimp was quite good. Pleased with the almond milk cappuccino and fresh OJ. My continental meal was good with homemade granola. Downside was what appeared as a dry not homemade muffin. Overall good though. Service again attentive and friendly.
I went for my birthday, staff and food were lovely!
Garlic knots were over baked. They were too hard. Marinara sauce served with was very bland. The pizza my sister had was served not warm at all. Not a great margherita pizza either. The meatballs and pasta I had was not good. Same marinara sauce I believe. The asparagus was the best thing, but still not great. Loved the space but were definitely disappointed.
Went here for my wife's birthday. We were seated immediately and our table was already set up waiting for us. Service was suberb. They had just changed their menu and had taken several vegetarian options off the menu, but the chef modified one of their menu items for me to be vegetarian and it was fantastic.
Worst dining experience potentially of my life.
The service was discombobulated and slow. Good intentions by the host and a new waitress that was clearly spread too thin. She was incredible and at least acknowledged the problems. Other staff seemed to ignore us… sat for an hour before our first drinks came out. Food was delicious!!!! Need some help on the service side of things.
We were there at lunch time. Quiet. Good food. Nice place to have conversation.
Great waiter! Food was divine. We had burrata, lamb tartare, ravioli, scallops and chicken. The chicken was AMAZING.
Great location, excellent service.
Great menu not too complicated but great food.
Will go again!!
Bread was good, wait times between getting water and putting in our order was very long. I ordered the steak and a side of potatoes but the water failed to mention that the side potatoes is the same as the potatoes that come with the steak, multiple people in our party would not have ordered an extra if waiter mentioned it to us. That being said the potatoes were good. Calamari was good but the main course, the steak was bland an did not leave me wanting to order it again. Moving onto the dessert that panna cotta was actually really good.
Sunday brunch was very slim on selection of food and expensive at $27.50/person. No option to order off of a menu, buffet only. Server was attentive initially but never came back to refill water or check on us. Had to make an extra effort to flag our waiter down in order to check out. Will probably check out other restaurants n the area before going back. Not opposed to going back when I can order from a menu and give them another chance.
Great Service and food was good, ambiance was welcoming and very clean
Maybe it was because it was Vikings game day.....but only option for breakfast was buffet. It was way too expensive for the quality of food and service. Waiter was disinterested...plus, my chair broke. Skip and go somewhere else.
Food was only okay. Appetizers were great though
Great proximity to the Armory. Comfortable and relaxing setting. Food was good and menu offers something very everyone.
Reasonable prices. Food was decent but not memorable.
The reservation helped tremendously. They were so busy and we were seated right away. We were brought our drinks quickly and our pizza shortly thereafter. Pleasant staff that work hard for their customers is great to see. Would go again!
1st time there at Tavola and being completely honest, the food and service was phenomenal. Easily 10/10 Italian food, our waiter was super nice and gave us perfect recommendations. I highly recommend the Ravioli, they made the perfect portion where it's just enough that by the time you're done with your last bite, you're full and not over the top. We had the garlic knots for an appetizer and they were made so good and the word "good" isn't enough to explain the mouth watering taste if gave you. Overall if you want some great Italian food and a great place where it's very relaxed then Tavola is the place to be. We will for sure be going back there many times.
Good food, drink and service at a reasonable price! Located just inside Elliot Park Hotel. Good atmosphere and low noise level allowed for good conversation.
The gnocchi and the spaghetti were both delicious, the desserts were wonderful, our server was a dream.
As like many, staffing struggles subsist, however pleasant and efficient service with really good food (pizza)
Service was disappointing. Waited a very long time for Service. Food is hit or miss, a little too salty. I'm definitely not returning.
Great food and a nice atmosphere, had the salmon and it was wonderful!
The service was fantastic. The manager came around to double check on us and made nice conversation about the concert we were attending.
Was a wonderful place to dine; great staff! Variety of dinner options, loved ravioli!!
Our dinner was excellent! The service was top notch. We will definitely be patronizing this restaurant again.
Ravioli, gnochetti, cocktails, and wine was all amazing!
Our server was great, food was amazing and every staff member went above and beyond. It’s work every dollar
Intriguing menu, loved the Hammock Cocktail and entrée of Squid Ink Spaghetti with shrimp & mussels!
Such a beautiful place and the food is consistently delicious :-)
Service and decor were wonderful. Food for my 2 companions was outstanding. Truly the only downside for me was how limited my options were having celiac and being gluten free. I knew that it was unlikely that I could have the pasta or pizza - I don’t expect that pasta / pizza restaurants will accommodate me. The problem was that all of the starters, save the mixed greens, had flour also. The chef did an amazing job of preparing a roasted chicken dish, substituting the gnocchi with vegetables. Much appreciated. I just felt that having a few other options would have been nice.
We went there as a party of 4, the menus never came for 10 minutes. We ordered a bottle of wine which 15 minutes later the waiter tells us they don’t have. NONE of the foods has salt in it. Infact we finished our table’s salt shaker and then had to ask for another one. The food was mediocre. The desserts (which again took forever) were tasteless, bland and were NOT sweet. Then the long wait for the check. We had to twice get up to the waiter to ask for our check.
Wife’s birthday completely spolit!!
Very slow service. Took 45 to get a drink, food was supposed to come to the table in two parts and everything was delivered at the same time.
