Tavern in the Square East Greenwich Restaurant is located at 1000 Division Street in the East Greenwich Square complex. Right off exit 24 A Route 95 highway. Surrounded by Dave's Fresh Market, Vaughn Cemetary. This location offers an open floor plan with a 60-seat bar. We feature 29 beers on draft, craft cocktails, and delicious food created by our culinary team and executed in our scratch kitchen. Tavern East Greenwich features a patio as well as a full open-air environment when weather permits. If you are a sports fan, we have you covered with 17 TVs located throughout the restaurant. This is a phenomenal spot to celebrate a special occasion or just meet up with friends for an incredible dining experience.

We always get a pretty good meal. Tonight my husband got the general Tso chicken / the portion was smaller than it usually is . We hadn’t even said anything and the manager James must have seen us discussing the problem and he jumped right in . He went into the kitchen and came back with the what the portion was suppose to be . Great manager who cares. It also looks like the waiter who serves us had a lot of respect for him .

For the first time, I was disappointed with the food. Also, the service was a little slow, I think due to the kitchen, not the server.

We had a very nice Easter brunch. The server was excellent but overwhelmed with the number of tables she had to cover. I'm sure she would have been more attentive if she had the opportunity.

Food is generally good at the Tavern and it’s not too difficult to find a table. That was our family’s dinner experience last night. The big disappointments were the drinks - an over sweet margarita served in a sticky glass, and a watery Ketel One martini. Stick to beer at the Tavern.
