   Very much enjoyed our pre-Theater dinner at Tavern by hearsay yesterday evening. Our server “T” was most attentive and friendly. Would have been five stars across the board had it not been for the exterior scaffolding on the building which blocked the view outside and also made finding the restaurant a bit challenging.

   We booked an outside table because it was full Inside. The patio is fully covered from the sun which was great but it is in a car park so when cars are coming and going to the valet it’s noisy and a bit fumey. The food was good. The Indian food was amazing. The spinach dip sublime. The burger was plain and uninteresting. I’d have expected something more unique. Service was great. I would definitely go back and maybe try the inside.

   We had another excellent dining experience. Our reservation was honored promptly and our waitress was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our meals and kept to our schedule (we had a performance at The Alley).

   We had a good experience. Our waitress, Ti, was amazing!! The food was good, the atmosphere was good. Our only complaint was that the HVAC system was super loud and made it hard to hear. If that had been off, the noise level would have been good.

   Perfect spot for dinner and cocktails. Knowledgeable & friendly staff, fantastic meal, awesome drinks, and a short walk to the theater.

    I've been a Hearsay Market Square fan for quite some time (and still am!), but the Tavern interpretation of the brand is a yummy twist! The new Tavern menu is just lovely, adding more British food favorites. The bangers and mash was just fabulous.
