TAS Restaurants offer a contemporary Turkish style and warm, friendly atmosphere, and our first branch The Cut is perfect for any occasion. All dishes are prepared by highly skilled chefs using fresh, seasonal produce to the highest standard offering a delicious mix of classic and modern dishes, all served daily.

Had a fantastic meal for Father's day. Family of 7 including a very excitable 18 month old daughter. The staff were so incredibly attentive and helpful. They could not do more for us and went above and beyond especially with our daughter. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet, but it was such a lovely sunny day, the patio doors were all open and created a lovely chilled almost holiday like vibe. Thank you for such a nice afternoon.

Tas is still a wonderful restaurant with delicious food and great service. I used to come to Tas on the Cut, Southwark often over 20 years ago and I got the chance to revisit on 10 June 2025. I was delighted to find it hadn't changed with the standard of food and service exactly the same. If you're ever in the area and need to eat, I would thoroughly recommend Tas as the place to go.

Very quiet for a Saturday night. Slight problem with undercooked fish but it was dealt with efficiently.

When you let us know one piece of the salmon was undercooked, we offered to prepare a fresh one right away. Impeccable, friendly service and delicious, well turned out food. High standard. A little quiet inside on a busy summer Friday night, but a calm respite from the crowds.

With 13.5% service we were additionally encouraged to add “Optional Service”. Excessive and unnecessary.

Booked for 5.30 as we were due at the Old Vic for 7.30. Starters were fine but then there was a very long wait for mains. We had to enquire how much longer on 2 occasions. When the food eventually arrived it was tepid. Which is such a shame as the chicken was so excellent, just not so nice when eaten nearly cold. And I hate to have to eat really quickly, especially meat dishes, but we were up against timing for the start of the performance. We were not the only ones in this anxious state as the tables around us seemed to be asking staff where their food was too. Tas is in such a great position on The Cut. It is a pity they can't seem to get the timings and service right and in view of the prices, not great value for money.

We always aim to serve dishes promptly, but as all of our grills are prepared à la minute and served directly from the grill, some waiting time can occasionally occur - particularly during busy pre-theatre periods. That said, we did not receive any complaints about delays on the evening in question, which makes your comments all the more important for us to review. We appreciate your kind words about the quality of the chicken and are disappointed to hear it wasn’t enjoyed.
