Joe Bastianich and Andy Nusser– the team behind Tarry Lodge in Port Chester and Michelin-starred Casa Mono– opened Tarry Lodge in Westport in the summer of 2011.

Tarry Lodge Enoteca Pizzeria features Nusser's signature hand-made pastas, exquisite fritti, and succulent meats cooked to order on our wood fired grill. The menu will have a distinct focus on local ingredients and we are taking full advantage of Westport's bustling farmer's market.

The centerpiece of the room is a Mugnaini pizza oven hand crafted by the famed Refratarri Valoriani, a family of artisans making pizza ovens since 1890. This fantastic oven will be surrounded by a dining counter, where guests can watch pizzaiolo Mario La Posta craft his world class pies.

I made a reservation on open table for Sat 5:30 for 4 people. Got to the restaurant and there is a handwritten sign that says they are closed for vacation. Not sure if this was restaurant fault or Open Table but we were disappointed and struggled to find another option

I can't really review Tarry Lodge because it was closed! My friends came up from Greenwich for an 8:00 reservation only to discover it was closed for the week. Why would they allow reservations if they are closing? It was incredibly disappointing (and embarrassing).

Creative cuisine, beautifully presented. Grilled octopus was generous and outstanding, as was the seafood pasta. Excellent red by the glass.

The food was delicious. Not too much dressing on the salads and everything was fresh. The branzino was perfectly prepared with a great flavor. We were almost served someone else’s food but our waiter quickly caught the mistake. He was professional and friendly.

We ate indoors. Decor is pleasant trattoria style. Full house. Servers attentive & friendly. My wine was a delightful rosé. The food was delicious- calamari appetizer crisp and tender inside , entrée black fettuccine with shrimp and mild spicy sauce -outstanding! We’ll return. Highly recommend.

We ate outside on the patio. We were sitting right next to the road, which us a busy street, so there was street noise and some car exhaust. Good and service were great! We will return.
