The food was great! It was a good noise level for conversation and there were a lot of options. The owner came over to talk and was very friendly.
The paella was fantastic and the portion was enough for four people. The shrimp in green sauce was disappointing. And the noise level was terrible.
Food was outstanding -- don't miss the shrimp in garlic sauce (tapas menu item) or the paella (I had the black paella, which was excellent). Service was right on, as the waiter made some excellent suggestions. Can't miss!
First visit, and well worth it. Welcoming staff, super service. Very good job carrying out the Spanish flavors of the interesting menu. Tried 3 different tapas plates and 2 different beautiful to see and wonderful to eat paellas. The welcoming bread basket and olive tamponade was crispy and just right. Red sangria like it is supposed to be in Espana. View of lively street scene and park fountains. And easy parking next door. Fun evening.
We had great food, but the service was a little poor. We have a gluten and shellfish allergy and they didn’t know what either of those “ingredients” were. We were just super careful with what we ordered, hoping there weren’t any mystery ingredients. We lucked out. Our server was very nice, but had no clue about the menu.
I got the skirt steak with shrimp and subbed rice for spinach. So delicious! Staff was attentive and accommodating. If I lived in WPB I would absolutely return!
Authentic Tapas. Try the Sangria. Attentive and Friendly service.
I was disappointed that I wasn’t given points for this reservation with NO explanation.
Aberto great job! It was my fiance birthday and we had a good time. I wish they would have sing Happy birthday to her but, everything else was super perfect.
Our server was amazing as was the flamenco show! Hope they keep the show going!
We had a great time at this Tapas restaurant, enjoying authentic food that reminded us of being in Barcelona. The service was attentive and timely. An amazing evening!
The food was delicious and the service was 5 stars. I took my friend for her birthday and we both had a wonderful experience!
The food was Less than memorable. We enjoyed th warm bread and olive tapenade. The Sangria was tasty. The three tapas plates we ordered was eh. Not good enough to order another round.
Absolutely fabulous and a great addition to clematis
The food at Tapeo is authentic Spanish cuisine. Both the owner and chef are Spaniards. The food is spectacular and the service is fantastic.
Great homemade Sangria. Paella was on target with large portions and plenty to share. The appetizers or tapas faves were the garlic shrimp and the chorizo. We had the paella with seafood and chicken plus a skirt steak entree. Both delicious. Would definitely go back and next time go upstairs to hear the guitarist.
Loved this place. So glad to have an authentic Spanish restaurant nearby. Can't wait to go back to taste more tapas. Only thing I would like to see added to tapas menu is "pan con tomate"
And add to dessert menu - churros!!
We've been to Tapeo twice and have been very happy both times.
Your staff was friendly professional. Food was amazing. I am planning to attend your suday brunch.
What a wonderful gem on Clematis. Just about ordered everything on the tapas menu. Skirt steak, the clams the scallops, were a few of the standouts. But, everything was excellent. Service, wine and even the bread pudding dessert. Will definitely be going back.
Great place for tapas and drinks after a hard day at work.
Tapas are delicious And reasonable portions.
We went for tapas and drinks on Thursday night ... enjoyed great authentic Spaniard music .
Friday night we returned to Tapeo to have a formal ( upstairs ) diner with a couple of friends.
Great experience, ham croquettes, grill pulp and black paella a must
I have had tapas a lot in various cities. This was adequate. I expected more full flavor profiles and a deeper, richer paella.
Nothing spectacular...expected better after reading the reviews. Stemed clam sauce had no flavor, scallops were "fishy"...Sangria was the best part of our meal.
Excellent tapas in a lovely setting!
Service was great but authenticity of the items questionable.
Delicious Spanish cuisine and excellent, attentive service. A great find!
This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant, the selection of tapas and paellas is fairly extensive, the service is friendly and attentive and the wine list (while limited) is reasonably priced. In addition to the main dining room and bar there are a few high top tables on the sidewalk and an upstairs that features music on the weekends. We look forward to visiting again soon.
This place is a gem. What great eats they had also. The goat cheese on greens salad was fantastic (I am not a fan of goat cheese until now), as well as the rest of the meal.
The staff is attentive and friendly. Loved it!
Great new restaurant in town. Fantastic menu and incredible service
The food was excellent service as well!
Paella valenciano was outstanding. Will certainly dine there frequently.
Excellent better than expected
There were 6 if us at the table and I think we ordered almost everything on the small plates menu. It was great!
Our favorite restaurant...food is so fresh!!!!
Authentic Spanish tapas, we loved everything we ordered. Will definitely go back
Fabulous food!!!!!!! Service terrific!
Fantastic, authentic Spanish cuisine with top notch service. The best pulpo a la gallega outside of Galicia. Other stand-out dishes include the patatas bravas and paella Diablo. Carlos the owner and his son CJ make you feel right at home.
The tapas menu was amazing. I had peppers stuffed with crab and bechamel sauce. the paella was also outstanding. Will definitely go back soon. We ate downstairs, but next time will choose upstairs for the ambiance.
