King Alfonso Xlll stopped by famous tavern in Cadiz ( Andalusian City) where he ordered a cup of wine. The Waiter covered the glass with a slice of cured ham before offering it to the king, to protect the wine from the beach sand, as Cadiz is a windy place.
After drinking the wine and eating the tapa, the king ordered another wine " with the cover"

What a lovely little restaurant. Very cosy, wonderful food, excellent service. The only thing we didn't realise was that it closed at 8.30pm, so we had to drink our bottle of wine quite quickly, but we didn't mind!

Delicious food, great presentation, nice surroundings. We had to smile when we saw the menu mentioned the salt as Maldon salt as that is where we travelled from!

Small and cute place with tasty food and drinks. It was a little busy during my visit and short staffed. Bumped into a few issues with delays and forgotten order requests. Would maybe go back for the tasty food and to see if service improved.

Unfortunately, although the staff were very friendly and helpful, the service was very slow, the food was cold, and the menu choice was very limited. The restaurant itself was very cold. Perhaps the worst feature was that there was no toilet, and if you need the toilet you had to go to a public toilet, where you are charged £1! The restaurant should at least arrange with the toilet provider to give their customer a voucher!

Food was really amazing, and in a great location, perfect for pre theatre. The service was overall good, the girl being very friendly and caring, but a guy removed a table the former had put to make space for all what we ordered, leaving us with many things in a tiny table, which was a bit uncomfortable. He later apologised a lot though, but could have moved us elsewhere. Tables for 2 are quite small (fine if you only have a pair of tapas) and seemed a bit squeezed, but larger tables seemed nice. Anyways, the food was superb, it was served quite fast, and I'd recommend to someone, especially as a pre theatre snack

We had booked with the plan to eat and drink at Tapas Stories - we decided to start with a coffee, staff took ages to sort out 2 coffees and it wasn’t busy - coffee was luke warm when it arrived. No toilets in venue - you have to go to public toilets and pay to use. There was a massive queue for toilets. Staff in restaurant were just chatting, didn’t even wipe table, menu was grubby/stained. Decided not to eat there and left. Found a lovely pub with great staff, food and a much better ambience.
