We really had a wonderful time at Tapa Toro. The meal was fresh and tasty. The portions were generous and the service was very good.
We had a group of 9 people with us and we all agreed that the food here was very good and we all ordered a second round of tapas! The service was great, friendly staff, and fun entertainment. Would definitely recommend!
Music while the dancing is on is WAAAAAAY over the top loud.
We were a party of 10 and only had one waiter. He was a bit slow and did not asked if we need it separate checks, so it was a mess when it was time to pay. He also did not write anything down so we had to keep letting him know we were missing items. We also kept getting one tapas at a time, which is not great when you have a party of 10.
It was my mother birthday and we had an estimated 15 to 20 people; not sure. I feel like the place was very crowded, dark, and super noisy. If you wanted to talk to the person next to them you would have to go all the way to their ear and talk in a pretty loud voice. Even to hear the waiters we had to scream and so did they. Anyways, we got the cold and hot tapas, and personally I didn’t like them except for the flatbread with the cream cheese, I think it was. Like all the tapas weren’t the best, I ordered a ribeye steak with a side of fries. I asked for it well done and it was; but it had no flavor, no juice, it felt bland. There was some substance under it that was salted and just tasted disgusting. The worst part of the order was that when they brought the steak, they didn’t bring my fries. Making me wait more then 5 minutes for them. The fries were the only thing I ate, but they weren’t even that good either like the fries were toooo salty. My brothers and I ordered lemonade and the first drink was good. When we asked for refills, my brother said “it taste like lemonade and sprite”. My other brother didn’t care, and mine tasted extremely sour as they still had two lemon slices in. Me personally I don’t like my lemonade sour. My parents, parents friends and some other family member also though that the food was a waste of money. Maybe it was the food we ordered. Or maybe they really do suck. But personally I would not recommend coming there.
They were moving tables while eating. Charged us for things we did not order
We had a fun time
Food was great, service was excellent and the entertainment was awesome!!
Birthday, entertaining with dancers and high energy
Wonderful food. Fun atmosphere. Begging for them to open one in Nashville!
Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Loved it
This is a nice place with mediocre and way overpriced food. The potatoes with chorizo remind me of breakfast at ihop. Nothing spectacular and definitely not worth a second visit.
Nothing really special about this place. Drinks were expensive and very watered down, food was mediocre, our server Maria was great but the hostess/host, bartender and what appeared to be a manager, all didn’t really seem like they were familiar with customer service. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.
Very appealing appetizers and paella! A little overpriced but overall excellent service!
Great brunch, atmosphere and service. Kitchen was a little slow especially when we came in and it was early where no other big parties are around. But the experience was great and food selection was amazing. Will definitely go back again.
Simply love this place. The food is amazing. The service is great! Had dinner resentfully with my mom and sisters and we all loved it. We also celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday last October and reserved a space for about 30 people. The experience was so wonderful some of our guest are still talking about it.
We ordered Paella for two, my son a burger and two cup of wine, $150.00, plus we had to wait one hour 1/2. Worst Paella I ever had. I do not recommend.
Great! took my friend for her birthday! Loved the live entertainment, food and music. Service was great
Janeska was awesome !!! Great food, great atmosphere, great service overall!!
Each show should be a little longer and bring in a male dancer as well
Had special with steak, lobster tail, shrimp and potatoes for 2. Delicious. Included salad and two desserts. $85 seemed quite reasonable for excellent food.
Tapa Toro is our new favorite restaurant in Orlando. The service was outstanding. Our waiter, Tony was friendly and very attentive, providing helpful advice and explaining the menu. The tapas were all delicious and reminded us very much of our visits to Spain. We especially liked the gazpacho, the meatballs, grilled octopus (pulpo), garlic shrimp and stuffed peppers. We look forward to trying other dishes on our next visit.
Music a bit load, ambiance was great, but again music would have been better if not so load
We were in Orlando on vacation and discovered the unlimited mimosas on Yelp. Our server was outstanding. We never had to ask for anything she would just bring it to our table. The flamenco dancer was beautiful!!!! We definitely return when we go back to Orlando.
Over priced and food wasn't even that exceptional. Additionally, I had SEVERAL hairs in my drink and another hair on a plate. Absolutely disgusting. Will never be coming back. If you like flamingo dancers, great dancers but extremely too loud. You will not be able to have a conversation at your table.
Awesome food and a great experience!! Will definitely go back soon
First of all my Wife an i were looking for a good Seafood Paella that doesn’t taste like a publix cardboard, unfortunately that was the case the place has a food vibe but is not worth the money we spent 100$ and neither were satisfied with the food. They tried to make it better woth a free desert but thats not the main point of a Couple looking forward to a Great meal so Skip Skip Skip
There were so many red flags, first we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Friday night. The food was bland Over priced and the server had the worse attitude!
Made a reservation for 8pm. Didnt get notified for a table until 9:49pm. With a reservation.
On valentines day we had a reservation for 8pm they ruined my date. they made us wait 2 hours to attend us. by the time they texted us was too late to eat. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. they don't have respect or consideration. Very loud and disorganized. Worst experience ever!!!!
8:00 reservation, not seated until 9:45. Not served until 10:30. Never approached or consulted by management. Unusual experience from a normally great restaurant.
It was Valentines day. We needed to wait to be seated for more than one hour. The noice was extremly loud. And it took very long to get to the table.
When willing to spend 140.00+tip on a special night I expect a little more. Waitress was awesome.
We were 10 people but my mom ordered cochinillo and she never received her dish. At the end of the dinner we ordered 2 octopus for her to eat something and the fish wasnt good, but they charged EVERYTHING.
Valentine’s Day. Place was a zoo and you could sense the hostess was WAY overwhelmed. 30 minutes behind for our 7pm reservation. Once seated, good service and entertainment. Food was delicious. Will definitely give it a second chance very soon.
Would not go back. Had to get our own silverware, our own napkins. Food came out at different times and some things we ordered never came out at all yet they were still on the bill.
Looking forward to returning. Made reservation and got put at a table in too tight of quarters all way in back. Then got moved outside to larger table and more room but missed the dancers on inside Overall food and service was good and hope next trip we can enjoy the dancers on inside
The ambience and the live music makes it a great place to go for either a special occasion or casual outing. Not much food options for kids though.
Best paella I have ever had
We got seated right by where they were cooking and so we watched the paella being made. Despite how busy they were the service was great. We did Tapas so we ordered as we went.
