Everything we ordered was delicious. Tapa special was scallops with crab and was beautifully presented (pic below). Kobe beef was a nice portion as was calamari. Cheese with crisps dig ham and almonds was yummy. Empanada dessert was cinnamon apple with ice cream. Sat outside for lunch. Can’t wait to go again!
Literally everything on the menu is amazingly delicious. The staff is friendly, engaging, and attentive. Great experiences every time I've been there.
Always enjoyable. Love the variety of the tapas. Live music was nice. Servers were very attentive.
The presentation of food was beautiful and it was delicious
I liked everything about my experience at Tapa the World.
Best Spanish restaurant in the Sacramento area.
Good Food, Great Service. Great Place for small plates to try different things. My only regret I didn't consider the lounge next door from where I could smell the Tobacco smoke . Think its a Hookah Bar and a Mediterranean restaurant.
I am sensitive to smoke.
It was an amazing dining experience. The drinks, food, and atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Definitely what we needed now things are opening up!
Axing, everything was good
The food and the service were absolutely great. Everything came in a timely manner and cooked to perfection.
Unique, delicious food and cute outdoor dining area. Would go back again.
One of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento.
Always awesome at TTW.
Always our favorite. Love Gambas ajia and beef tips in plum ginger sauce. The beautifully delicate flan is also wonderful
Their accomodations during Covid are great-dining both on the patio, courtyard and inside. The food is very good, the staff is friendly, and the chef even came out and chatted with us. Definitely plan to go back!
customer service was excellent, wine was great, seating in this pandemic was amazing i just wasn't impressed with the Paella which i was most looking forward too...
Found was wonderful and our server went above and beyond. We were celebrating our Anniversary.
We were treated unfairly and left before eating. We arrived on time checked in however; the tables need to be cleaned so my sister and I went to use the bathroom. When we came back an older white couple where also waiting to be seated. When the server was done cleaning the tables he told us to pick a table and the other couple could have the other one. We sat down the couple complained and we received our menus after the couple. When my sister went in to get the menus that were not brought to us we changed our minds. When my sister took the menus back in the server apologized to her immediately and said “it wasn’t how it seemed”. We chose to spend our money else where.
Food was as good as we’ve had in Barcelona, our server was awesome! My only complaint is the street noise. Obnoxiously loud cars very frequently.
We ordered about 10 tapas and wine tasting and had an amazing time!
Favorites were empanadas, scallops, filet tips, mushrooms and ahi . Calamari, croquettes, wagyu, and pork skewers were good also.
We definitely will be back!
1st off I would like to give a special shout out to my waitress Maryam. ( that's how google spelled it Lol!! This lady was amazing from the beginning to the end of our lunch. She always came back to check on us, She gave me recommendation on the lentil soup which was amazing!! My boyfriend had the Tri tip & after tasting it he said we are definitely coming back here again and we will be given them a review. So I say to you please visit this place.!!the outdoors heater was warm!!
This place is always consistent and delicious! We’ve been coming here for years. Their must-haves are the steamed mussels, Mediterranean salad and of course their house made sangria. You will not be disappointed!
Tapas are always great, this time we ordered the paella and the seafood was a bit dry, was expecting more rice. Decent, but not sure we'd get again. I can probably make it more to my liking and expectations. Our waiter never came to see if we needed anything, good thing there was a runner that was helping us out or else we never would have gotten refills of water or had empty plates taken away.
Food was great! Drinks were good. One of my favorite places!
Love Tapa, been going for years and it never disappoints.
Always have a great meal at Tapa...lots of outdoor seating both covered and uncovered.
It's always a great dining experience here! We love the little bar stools/table outside to have a drink while we waited for our table on the patio. The waitress was super nice and everything we ordered tasted great as always. Love the house sangria! I recommend this spot for all couples.
Went for a birthday dinner and had a great time. Awesome food! Atmosphere was great with the outdoor dining in the alcove between the buildings.
Great dinner on the patio. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious.
Tapa the World makes the best out of a difficult situation. We ate in the night of the big storm and even with the wind and rain we were warm enough and comfortable under their airy covered, heated courtyard. Not to mention the food is outstanding! Sauces are tasty and food is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service is excellent and they bring the food out right away so it’s still hot!
We had a great time. Had to wait a bit longer for a table in the courtyard but it was not long and they kindly turned on the heaters. All of the staff were truly nice and professional. I will come back here!!
Eggplant was delicious, hamburger was juicy, and the muddled starwberry lemonade was to die for!
Food here was excellent and portions just right! My husband and I sat outside it the heated courtyard, so we felt safe yet warm enough to eat without a jacket. The two of us ordered 4 tapas plates, which were all well seasoned, the right amount of food and delicious!
The lamb, organic spanish wine, empanadas, and service...all excellent!
Wonderful Tapas in Sacramento Mid-town. It's on the mid-town fringes (J street and 21st) so the surroundings aren't exactly up-scale. But I'd return there any day.
This is a very friendly restaurant with a wonderful guitarist on Saturday nights.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Sacramento. Love coming back every time. The sangria is delicious as well as their dishes. Of course my favorite is the mussels in their garlic, butter and spices sauce with a basket of bread. Will go back soon.
Great food. Great drinks. Delightful service. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been great each time.
I used to go to this place many years ago and the food was actually some of the best in the city in my opinion. Boy has it gone way downhill. The service was fine and the waitress was friendly, but the tapas in this restaurant are absolutely nothing like the ones you get in Spain, and the food quality was very inferior. Something simple like Gambas al Ajillo or some of the worst I have ever had. They showed up pretty much boiled in a soupy white liquid, nothing like I have ever seen before. Most of the other dishes we had were very disappointing as well. I would never go back.
This is one of the best restaurants in Sacramento, CA. They have a great outdoor patio, live music on weekends and delicious food. The sangria is a must!
