Worst service ever. With a reservation, we still had to wait 15 minutes in the bar and follow-up with the hostess.

We went for a family dinner and ate in the "Gathering Room". Loved the separateness and ambiance of the space. The restaurant location is difficult to find, but once there it's great. Our server Brett was really, really nice but could use more training for the price per plate. The food was great except for my small cesar salad with fried chicken. There was way too much dressing and the chicken chunks should have been sliced thinner and placed nicely on top in my opinion. Also I wished we had been informed that the gratuity was included in the bill, because I wasnt paying attention and added another 20%. When we realized this, we had to drive 20 minutes back. All in all a great new spot and with some fine tuning it will be a 5 star winner!

I really wanted to like this local restaurant a mile from my home. My wife and I ordered the beet salad. It was drenched in dressing. We ordered the chicken. I sent mine back to be cooked when the chicken was very red and bloody near the bone. The waiter attempted to excuse the undercooking by explaining that the chicken was cooked in the sous-vide method. OK, great - but the chicken still has to be cooked! I will say we were offered a complimentary dessert, which didn’t compensate for my wife and I not eating at the same time as they re-prepared my order. Also, for a restaurant named “Tap and Vine” I expected the wine list to be more substantial. My final recommendation is to request a booth or table at least 40 feet away from the door - otherwise you’ll get a nice blast of cold air every time the door opens. There’s sort of a grace period while new restaurants get established- but unfortunately the clock has almost struck 12 o’clock on this disappointing place.

We have loved tap and vine. But the past two times we have been there the food has just been okay. The restaurant was not busy but we had made a reservation for a booth. They squeezed us into a booth more made for 2 not three adults. There were plenty of larger ones open. Then we knew more about ciders offered than the waitress. Lastly we ordered the $30 pork belly and it was AWFUL I mean one of the worst meals I've ever eaten. It was try, tough and tasteless. The look "$6" off our bill but that barely made a dent especially since we only ate about 3 bites. Dont think I'll return. Its a shame considering this was a normal spot I brought friends and business clients.

Tap and Vine is a great place for food and drink. Diverse food selection, with a full bar, and moderate in price. Each time I have been there, even on weekdays, it has been pretty busy so I wouldn't count on a quick in and out dining experience. The servers and staff are very friendly and nice. It has a fun, friendly vibe.

What an amazing find that we just stumbled upon. The fried brussel sprouts, avocado tacos and kale salad were excellent. And the dessert was awesome!
Great selection of beers on tap and wine. The owners spent some time and money on the interior and it shows. Our server was so sweet.
We highly recommend this great restaurant.

Had a great family meal on New Year's Eve. Food and service were great. This was our second visit and we weren't disappointed. Generous portions. We all loved the brussel sprout appetizer and the beet salad. Entrees were large enough that we couldn't find and brought home leftovers. I had the fried chicken, which was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

Great place to go for NYE celebration... Enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts appetizer, wedge salad, avocado tacos and fried chicken dish.. Exceptional service and great location!

Sunday night dinner with Mom. Brussels and beet salad were a bit soggy. Beets were not the star of the plate. Grilled cheese with pumpkin soup and pork belly with super creamy mashed potatoes were excellent. Although it was my first visit, and wait staff was friendly (although a bit smart aleky) my mom noted no female servers on staff after multiple visits. Humm...

We were four, we had cocktails to start, my husband had "Breaking Bud" beer, an IPA on tap that he loved. We all started with one of the best beet salads I've had anywhere in the world. Truly excellent. One had the prawn appetizer as her main, delicious...I had the Big Girl Cheese Sandwich with pumpkin soup, a huge portion, decadent, and both boys had the Fried Chicken. My husband regretted not asking if he could have white meat but did enjoy the thigh/leg. Our Bay Area guests who are foodies and well traveled declared it was excellent and they look forward to coming again. We are more local and will certainly come back and soon.

Our server, Kimmie, was gracious and helpful. She recommended the pumpkin chai beer to my niece and she really liked it. The food was great. I loved the Impossible Burger (vegetarian) and my husband had the dungeness crab mac and cheese. It's divine. My niece loved the avocado tacos and my nephew loved the grown up grilled cheese. Can't wait to go back

It was a little chilly and noisy on the patio, but the food and service were excellent. I would recommend better lighting on the patio to read the menus.

Get the Brussel Sprouts!! Our family's entire meal was fabulous! Great drinks menu, not printed but they have a few options for the kids as well. My kids loved it! All of our food was great! Highly recommend it!

Very under impressed. This was recommended by a friend. I would not recommend it.
The Brussels Sprout appetizers were swimming in grease, the Standard burger was tasteless, The lobster mac n' cheese was incredible salty and the place was loud.

Our waiter was also bar tending, which is what we figured out at the end of our dinner. We didn't get great service. Our first time there was amazing. The food wasn't as good either.

The food was amazing but the space was very cold and very loud, which seems to be the way so many restaurants are these days. The ceilings are high the floors are concrete and there isn't a soft surface in sight. I had a great cocktail and the soup/ grilled cheese sandwich which I really enjoyed. My husband had the steak and a glass of wine which he also really enjoyed. If it were not as noisy and a little warmer with cozier booths I would be back in a heartbeat.

This was our first time at Tap & Vine and I am highly impressed. The selection of wine and beer and crafted cocktails were out of this world. I work in the food and beverage industry so I can understand the variety, The taste profiles, and the seasonal options that's happened Vine display. We went there for my best friend's birthday and I definitely will be attending again soon.

We had the filet and the pork piccata. Both were superb. Salad was just ok, boring. We are not fans of televisions in restaurants, especially with expensive dishes, so we probably won't return unless we can sit outside. But I get the vibe they are trying to send. Not a place for a quiet evening. Looking forward to trying the other dishes soon.

First time to tap and vine exceeded expectations. It was a little noisy but settled down as the evening progressed. The food was fantastic. Good portions for the price - we had some to take home. The Brussels sprout appetizer was delicious. Great beer and wine. Very friendly staff.

Went with the wife on a date night before a show at the state theater. Perfect start to a great night. Always good food and great drinks. We do miss the Clementines coffee though

Very happy with our second dining experience there! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is to die for! They also had my absolute favorite wine. Rombauer Chardonnay! The owner popped by our table and introduced himself. Thought that was great! We really need this type of dining in Auburn. Go out and eat!

This place is awesome!!! From the food to the service, and everything in between!

One thing to critique. Fill the lemon drop martini glasses at least 2/3’s full... Less than half full is a disappointment when spending money on alcohol.

This was my second visit and both experiences have been enjoyable. Yummy food... try the brussel sprouts for sure... great service and comfortable atmosphere. I'll be back for the BigKid Grilled Cheese sandwich again!

My husband looked at the beers on tap and asked about a couple of them and the waitress quickly offered to bring him samples of the two he was interested in. I asked about a couple of the wines and once again I was offered samples. Off to a good start, much appreciated courtesy! We began with a shared beet salad and without a doubt it was one of the best beet salads either of us can remember and we've eaten them all over the country. This was delicious and I'm not exaggerating, for that reason alone worth returning for. My husband had a hearty tomato based pasta dish with sausage, it was delicious, very complex. I had a lobster pasta with peas and pea pods, lots of lobster, very tasty subtle sauce that did not overwhelm the lobster. This was not what we expected, definitely a restaurant a cut above. We thought the ambience could use some help, very plain, industrial like which didn't help the noise level. We could hear each other as we were in a booth for two and seated beside each other. We will definitely return and brings friends with us.

This a go to place to try new dishes . Love the Brussel Sprouts... staff are awesome! And the food is great. Nice selection of beer too .. awesome atmosphere! The cones around now and then to check on customers... nice touch.

This new gem in Auburn has great food. I LOVE the roasted Brussels sprouts. It's the lemon vinaigrette that sets it apart from other roasted Brussels sprouts. On other dishes, there is a heavy salt hand at work in the kitchen. Best to ask to reduce the salt, the food would be perfect then. Took Mom, who ordered the clams. She loves clams; however, she didn't expect to find jalapeno in the broth--though it wasn't spicy, that soured her experience. I loved my entree, and highly recommend Tap & Vine.
