The evening started off well with lovely Oysters and prawn toast to start. The service was very pleasant and swift. The reason for the rating though was due to my mothers meal which was a chicken dish. I had lovely beef with some noodles but her meal was unacceptable as some of the thicker chicken pieces (35% of dish) was raw. She ate a few pieces before realising when biting into a larger piece at first I thought it was just a bit pink how thigh meat can be but after trying the largest piece myself I quickly realised the texture was completely off and after inspecting it it was pink raw and cold in the middle. Our server was very nice to remove this from the bill and offer a free dessert (we did not accept as we just wanted it leave at this point). While the food that was cooked properly had immaculate taste we did feel let down by the chicken and can only hope this was a one time event.

Our party of 5 ordered 5 dishes. Food came fast. Quality was good....esp the wagyu beef and scallops. Highly recommend this place.

It was nice however after only being there 40 minutes and still with food and drink on the table, we were pressured to pay the bill and leave.

The food is delicious and yummy. The portion and the price of the food is reasonable. The staff are so nice. The environment is so good setting. I had a good lunch with my friends

Chinese perfect ; guests are kings in this central cbd location from entry to exit and nothing is too much trouble for your host and capable friendly staff

Tao's Sydney serves wonderful Cantonese cuisine in an elegant dining setting. The three choices for the banquet set menu is excellent value, and takes the guess work out of the equation should you have decision paralysis with the a la carte.

Good service. Angus pepper beef some of the most tender meat I have ever eaten, delicious. Huge portion of fried rice. Kung pao cauliflower nearly inedible tho, steamed cauliflower and untoasted nuts in a watery chilli sauce…. Needs urgent improvement. Xiao long bao very yummy. Super fresh tasting vegetables. Would have liked to try dessert but was too full!! If it wasn’t for the disgraceful vegetarian meal this place would have been 5 stars for me.
