We loved the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. We tried sushi, salmon, Peking duck and sides and loved everything. I recommend ending the evening with their signature fortune cookie dessert! What a great evening. I would recommend for special occasions, friends and business dinners. We will definitely be back!
Everything about this place was awesome, from the doorman to the servers! Great place
Nice atmosphere! We loved it especially the dessert entree!
Food was not so good
Just perfect... perfect!
Awesome my first time going here will not be my last. Great music. Food is Bomb.
The Mongolian beef with the fried rice (added the rice) it was delicious!
Amazing place with great vibe, ambiance and food! From security, to seating to the staff that waited on us, our experience was awesome. I would highly recommend this place.
It's been over a year since I've been back and with the girlfriend that I haven't seen since our last visit. We couldn't wait not only to dine and have the EXACT items we ordered the last time, which we didn't forget, but also nice to see my friend. I absolutely love coming here. Probably the best Orange Chicken and Lobster wontons. Service was great, especially the hostess. Very warm and friendly! Drinks were great, except the expresso martini, but they were nice for me to change it. Will be back again, sooner than a year.
delicious food !
We were seated at a booth where half the seat was completely covered in a chocolate sauce. Because of the dim lighting, part of the party sat in it unknowingly.
Look twice before you sit down. They probably didn’t wipe down the seating. During a pandemic, no less.
This particular I wasn’t seated until 45minutes after my reservation time. I was told to stand outside until my table was ready.
I believe in transparent reviews, positive or negative.
The Good: as always, the food was great, the waitress was excellent, the ambiance was Tao
The Bad: VERY DISORGANIZED. Due to the pandemic, there is a barrier and a wait at the front prior to checking in. The gentleman manning the barrier was very disorganized. The process is flawed, they allow one person from the group to check in, but with 30+ people standing in a circle, he relied on memory to direct individuals past him to check in. His memory is clearly failing.
This resulted in my party waiting for an hour, even with a reservation, while multiple parties walked past us to check in. Each time we attempted to ask if we could check in, the gentleman at the barrier either ignored us or told us the wait is long. It soon became clear he didn't realize we never checked in. But that is because he wouldn't listen when we tried to explain that. The entire scene was a bit chaotic and frustrating.
A restaurant like Tao should have a more sophisticated method of checking in for a reservation. This method relies on the human element, with zero organization.
When we finally were able to get to the hostess to check in, we asked for the manager. After another 10 minutes he arrived. The manager had no idea of the disorganization happening up front. He apologized and attempted to make things right with complimentary appetizers and champagne. Nice gesture, but we had only planned on being there for an hour or so, and unfortunately we spent that amount of time waiting in line.
Tao needs to do better. Olive garden has a more sophisticated method of checking in. I would return for the food, but only after they reopen to full capacity and eliminate this inefficient check in method.
We made a reservation and had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, manager sent over complimentary champagne and appetizers to makeup. Food was delicious as usual
Had my birthday dinner here and the ambience was unmatched! So beautiful. It was a little cold inside tho probably due to A/C so make sure to bring a sweater. Service was good and food was delicious!
I love this place. Food is yummy, drinks are good, good looking women everywhere and the music of Dope!
food was so basic, service was so basic. i really expected better on a $300 tab. the birthdays are a joke. i have to pay for a platter to get a song lol. i left a better review on yelp. if it weren't for the ambiance you'd get 1 star.
Appetizers were great!
So happy that Tao is back open and in full force. We missed you guys! Our waiter Cory was absolutely amazing such great service such great attitude we had a great time with him thank you so much Cory you were awesome
Good food but the coldest place ever. It’s indoor and the ac is on full blast and they don’t have any heater or blanket of any sort everyone was complaining. Very unprofessional!
Amazing night! Always delicious food!
As you walk in you are swept away with You would never believe stepping from the sidewalk to entrance, inside held this high palace of art and statues. Waiter, excellent. Food prepared elegantly. The only issue is we had to wait outside in cold due to entire party not arriving at the same time.
Everything was beautiful as ever & the service was good only one complaint is the small bench like table seating
I always enjoy my time at Tao & I love the food every time..tried a lot of food that I never had before this time for my birthday and loved all of it & loved the waiters and staff for making my day special
Best dining experience I’ve ever had.
Great and fast
Great as always
Great ! The ambiance beyond AMAZING can be a very intimate date night or a sexy night out with your girls ! I will be back !
Food was good but the table was smaller then I expected.
This was my first time dining here. All the food was AMAZING!! I don’t have a single complaint! A bit pricey but delicious. I will be back!!
Great place for date night or to have a celebration or just a night out
This restaurant is a hit or miss. It’s great at times and then other times not.
Everything was delicious! Food was amazing once again & waiter was super nice and funny
Awesome ambiance and service. But way over priced. Only 2 Chardonnay by the glass snd they were out of one leaving $25 glass as only option. $34 for orange chicken and $54 for mongolian beef. Just crazy expensive.
Loved the ambience, food was great, our server was very attentive
Great to be dining indoors!! Great staff, delicious food and amazing ambiance. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
Everything was perfect
